Zombie Barbie For Halloween

Hey gorgeous lovelies. It's Monday, but I hope I can put a smile on your face by showing you my second Halloween look. I wanted to do something a bit different and fun so I went for a 'Zombie Barbie'. So here is what I came up with.

Barbie had always got along with other dolls, but as the disease took over things began to change

In fear of Barbie all the other dolls decided to make her Queen

If they were lucky she would not feed on them!

QUEEN BARBIE: EATS OTHER DOLLS FOR BREAKFAST!

Here are the products I used and the steps to take if you want to recreate this look:

Step 1: Apply Accessorize With-Love Primer all over the face and neck. Here is a link to the primer.

Step 2: Apply Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation in Bone all over the face and neck. Here is a link to this foundation.

Step 3: Add Benefit Boi-ing Concealer in 02 to blemish areas that you would normally cover up. Here is a link to the concealer.

Step 4: Apply Primark Ta Ta For Now Pen Concealer in Light down the nose, on the cupids bow and under the eyes. Primark do not have many products at all on their website so I can not show you a link to this, sorry :(

Step 5: Apply E.L.F. Eyelid Primer in Sheer all over the eyelids. Here is a link to this eye primer.

Step 6: Using the Sleek MakeUP Limited Edition I-Divine Good Girl Palette apply the shade Meringue to the inner corners of the eyes and under the brow bone. Then all over the eyelids and almost up to the brow apply the shade Cupcake. Then apply the shade Pink Punch to the outer corner and slightly into the crease of the eye. Make sure to blend these colours well. As this is a limited edition palette I can not show you a link to this, sorry :(

Step 7: Using the E.L.F. Complete Coverage Concealer Palette in Medium apply the third shade from the left over your eyebrows if they are dark like mine as you want the brows to match the blonde wig. Don't put too much, just enough as a base for shadow. Here is a link to the concealer palette.

Step 8: Apply the Ash Brown shade that comes in the HD Brows Palette for Brunettes over the top of the concealer on your eyebrows. Mine came in my September GlossyBox. Here is a link to the GlossyBox website as the HD Brows website does not appear show any products? Link :)

Step 9: Apply MUA Snow White Eye Liner to the waterline, but not too much. There is no link to this on the Superdrug website, sorry :(

Step 10: Apply Eyeko Graffiti Eyeliner Pen in Jet Black to the upper lash line and into a small flick at the outer corner. On the outer corner of the lower lash line draw on 3 lashes to make the look more doll-like. As Eyeko has had a revamp this eyeliner no longer appears to be available, but here is a link to an eyeliner pen they have that looks almost identical, Link :)

Step 11: Apply the NYX Cosmetics Long Pencil Eye in Dark Brown along the lower lash line. Here is a link to this pencil.

Step 12: To give that tired, sallow look to your eyes apply Illamasqua Cream Eye Shadow in the shade Dual to the sides of the nose by the inners of the eyes and under the eyes where under eye bags would naturally form. Blend in to make it look realistic. Here is a link to this eye shadow.

Step 13: Apply W7 Honolulu bronzer in an E3 motion to contour the face. I could not find a W7 website, but W7 is available on various online websites. I actually bought mine in my local Savers.

Step 14: Next apply Illamasqua Powder Blusher in Unrequited to the apples of the cheeks. Here is a link to this blusher.

Step 15: Apply W7 Africa Multi Bronzing Face Powder to the cupids bow and above the apples of the cheeks as a highlight. Again this should be easy to find on various websites, but I got mine at my local Savers.

Step 16: Next apply MAC Show Orchid Lipstick straight from the bullet onto your lips with 2/3 applications. For some reason I can not see this shade available on the website, but I am sure it is still available in stores?

Step 17: Next up you need to use the Sleek MakeUP I-Divine The Primer Palette. Unfortunately the names of the shades in my palette do not appear to correspond correctly so I will just describe them by colour and not their official name. Dab the 'blue' shade onto the lips to tone down the pink a little so that your lips look a little more deathly. Now you need to use a small pointy brush that is a little flexible to apply the 'purple' shade on various areas of your face and neck to create veins. Use the brush in a squiggle motion. Dab the colour onto your hand before applying as you don't want to apply to much product. Accentuate these veins with the 'blue' and 'black' shades, but again again dab onto your hand and keep building where you need to. Add a few veins using the 'red/pink' shade remembering to dab on your hand first. Also apply this shade to the inner part of your lower lash lines. Here is a link to the primer palette.

Step 18: Apply just a dab of 17 Clear Lipgloss onto your lips. I was given this product at Xmas as part of a mini set that is available again this year on the link here.

Step 19: Next apply Clinique High Impact Mascara in Black to the upper lash line only. Here is a link to the mascara.

Step 20: Apply Beauty Nation Glam Lashes to the upper lash line. Make sure to check they are the right size for your eyes before applying. If they are not then just snip them with some nail scissors until they fit. Bend them gently into the natural curved shape of your eye, add the lash glue along the stem of the lashes. I used a cotton bud to help spread mine as it was quite thick. Let it get tacky for a minute or two then apply to your lash line using tweezers and your fingers to guide you. This was my first time at applying false eye lashes and I didn't do too bad, but one eye is coming away slightly at the outer corner as you can see in the photos. Try to avoid this by applying a little extra glue to the ends. Here is a link to the lashes, although they are not the exact same style as there are various designs in Poundland, Link :)

Step 21: Apply 17 Clear Definition Mascara over the top of your eyebrows to keep them in place. Here is a link to this mascara.

Step 22: Put on lots of pink things. I have on a pink long sleeved top from Primark, 3 necklaces that came in a pack from the 99p Stores and a ring from I believe Love Lemonade. I also added a blonde wig from Annabelles Wigs in the style Carly and a Claires hairband. Here are links to these products:

Primark top ~ No link available, sorry :(

Set of 3 necklacesLink :)
Ring ~ It's not the exact same, but here is a similar ring Link :)

Wig ~ I had a fringe cut into this Link :)

Here are some close ups of my hand to give you a better look of the veins that I also applied here. For details of the nail polish please see my NOTD post.

A rather attractive pose from me don't you think, haa haa? I wanted to show you the veins on my neck too. The earrings are from Peacocks. The are no longer available on the website, sorry :(

My tiara came as part of this set from Poundland. Here is a link to this product which is shown in purple, Link :)

Here is the doll which I was chewing on. She is named Rochelle and comes in various outfit designs from Poundland. I removed her jacket as it was very tatty. Although it's a different doll here is a link to the dolls in this range, Link :)

So I hope you enjoyed this post. I know it was long, but I just wanted to include all the information in case you want to try it. I quite liked being Barbie, but I would have preferred to be the prettier version. It was quite hard to get the balance between the 'perfect Barbie Look' and the 'Zombie Look', but I think it came out okay. Use whatever products you want to recreate this look as I don't expect you to go out and buy each item that I have.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN APPLYING THESE PRODUCTS TO YOUR SKIN AS I DON'T WANT ANYONE COMING BACK TO ME SAYING THAT APPLYING EYE PRODUCTS IN OTHER AREAS CAUSED THEM HARM. ALSO WHEN REMOVING YOUR FAKE EYE LASHES HOLD A COTTON PAD SOAKED IN EYE MAKE-UP REMOVER OVER THE EYE WITH YOUR EYE CLOSED FOR A MINUTE OR TWO, THEN GENTLY PULL AWAY THE LASHES. DO NOT FORCE THE LASHES AWAY FROM YOUR EYE AND APPLY MORE EYE MAKE-UP REMOVER IF NECESSARY. THOSE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 MAY NEED TO SEEK GUIDANCE FROM A PARENT OR GUARDIAN WHEN APPLYING AND REMOVING THESE PRODUCTS!

So what do you think of this look? Is it something you would try? Have you already done something similar?

Love to you all
