July 2012 GlossyBox

Hey loves. I have given the house a really good clean today which although was not fun in this hot weather I always feel better for doing it. I picked up My July GlossyBox from my Mum's. I thought I had changed the details on my GlossyBox account to my new address, but I will have to investigate. This month's box is festival inspired so let me show you the products.

Left To Right:

Bex London Londoner Urban Fragrance (W1X), £81.00 for 100ml EDT

This sophisticated neo-vintage fragrance is inspired by the opulence and high- octane atmosphere of London’s West-End.

Notes:

Top: Coriander, Bergamot, Mandarin, Neroli

Middle: Cardamon, Orris, Rose, Ylang, Tea, White Jasmine, Freesia, Violet, Lily of the Valley,

Bottom: Cypress, Cedar Wood, Precious Wood, Patchouli, Vanilla, Vetiver

The fragrance W1X is one of four from this range. I am not sure if this is £81.00 for all four fragrances or each? I would describe this scent as soft and feminine. It's okay, but not something I would buy for myself. With the London culture behind this product I expected something a bit more 'girl about town', but it does say that W1X is a feminine fragrance.

Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Moisture Mist, £9.25 for 250ml

Deeply hydrates thirsty hair and revives dry, tired skin. Ensures soft, healthy looking skin. Reactivates styling products in the hair. Perfect for touch ups.

Spray generously on hair and skin.

I am really coming close to finishing my face mist/toner so this will be nice to try. When I smell this spray bottle product it's very subtle and does seem quite refreshing.

Monu Eye Cool Gel, £16.95 for 15ml

A refreshing gel that instantly revives and tones tired eyes, reducing puffiness, fine lines and dark circles. Can be used under make-up.

Not tested on animals. Wheat-free and paraben-free.

Use morning and night after cleansing and toning. Gently pat a small amount around the eye area, avoiding the eye lids, until completely absorbed.

This feels very cooling. I like the idea that it's a gel formula. It appears to have very little if no scent.

Jelly Pong Pong Cosmetics Lip Frosting in Irish Cream Pavlova, £10.00 for 15ml

A multifunctional cream gloss. Use on lips for a tint of colour, or on cheeks for a luminous glow. This is scented with homemade pavlova.

This is my first ever Jelly Pong Pong product and so far I like it. The scent is gorgeous. Very sweet and very noticeable. The product came out quite thick and gloopy and quite fast when I squeezed the tube. The gloss is very shiny and this colour is a very sweet pink candy shade. I think this will be great for lips and cheeks.

Centre:

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse, £17.50 for 50ml

Apply this dry oil to your face, body and hair all year round. Your face and body are left feeling soft and silky. Your hair is supple, soft and shines with health.

On the face:

- Spray Huile Prodigieuse in the palm of your hands and rub hands together to warm the product.

- Apply Huile Prodigieuse on the face with smoothing strokes from the centre to facial contours.

On the body:

- Spray Huile Prodigieuse on selected areas (décolleté, arms, stomach, thighs…).

- Massage Huile Prodigieuse area by area using circular movements.

On the hair:

- Spray Huile Prodigieuse directly on hair (at a distance of about 20 cm). Massage hair and scalp to help penetration.

- Wrap hair in a dry towel and leave on for 15 to 20 minutes for complete penetration of Huile Prodigieuse.

- Wash hair with your daily Shampoo.

I like the scent of this multi-tasking dry oil. It's quite warm yet subtle. I will mostly use this on face and body. Mine is not a spray bottle as it's a 10ml sample, but it's still nice to try a versatile product.

Bonus Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Products:

Left:

Gentle Hydrating Cleanser, Optimizing Skin Serum & Gentle Hydrating Cream SPF15, From £32.00 for 50ml

Gentle Hydrating Cleanser:

Colloidal Oatmeal particles to gently exfoliate the skin and Oat Protein fine powder to soothe.

Optimizing Skin Serum:

Sodium Hyaluronate to lubricate and attract moisture to the skin; and Vitamin C Derivative which provides antioxidant protection and helps brighten the appearance of skin.

Gentle Hydrating Cream SPF15:

Advanced Moisture Complex including a combination of high performance moisturizers, humectants, film formers and water binding agents, such as Trehalose, Sodium Hyaluronate, Urea, Sodium PCA and Glycerin, provide long lasting moisturisation. Gentle Hydrating Night Cream: Shea Butter which is an effective emollient and moisturizer; and Lavender to calm and soothe skin while providing a relaxing scent.

Dry Skin needs gentle but effective hydration. The 4-step Regime: Cleanse, Tone, Treat, Moisturize will make a Visible Difference in your skin.

  • Cleanse with the Gentle Hydrating Cleanser massaging it onto wet face and rinsing well with warm water.

  • To tone sweep the Gentle Hydrating Toner over cleansed skin with cotton (not included with these samples)

  • Treat with the Optimizing Skin Serum by smoothing onto face and throat, before moisturizer, morning or night.

  • Moisturise with the Gentle Hydrating Cream SPF15 and the Gentle Hydrating Night Cream by smoothing onto cleansed face and throat, (Gentle Hydrating Night Cream not included with samples).

The only Elizabeth Arden skin care I have tried is the 8 hour cream and I didn't like it due to the smell and texture. I know it's really popular with a lot of you though.

I thought there was something else in the sachet on the right of the photo, but it's just information on these samples. I hope these are nice products to use and I will test them out. They are quite pricey, but I will see if they are worth it.

So my overall thoughts on this month's box are pretty good. I will use everything included. The moisture mist and eye gel seem very cooling and good for the skin. I love the shade of the lip frosting too.

ModelCo Face Base & EcoTOOLS Make-Up Applicators

Hey Darlings. I hope you are all very happy and well. I'm good at the moment and enjoying my last week off before returning to work on Monday. The sunshine has come at a good time, but I really need a sun lounger to fully appreciate it. I really want one that lies flat and isn't too expensive so if you have any recommendations on where I can find one please let me know :) Today I have a few reviews for you so I will get started.

First up is ModelCo Face Base Skin Primer. This product was sent to me by Kilpatrick PR for free to review. The idea behind this product is to smooth out the skins surface in preparation for make-up application. In other words to help disguise those fine lines, wrinkles and pores. This product is to be applied after your moisturiser, but before your foundation application to help your make-up last up to 10 hours. It can also be used as a face moisturiser. It is meant to protect the skin against drying and seasonal conditions, rehydrating and leaving the skin feeling velvety smooth. This primer is also oil-free and suitable for all skin types. It has a translucent formula as you can see from the tube.

I have used this primer quite a few times and I do enjoy applying it because it really does feel silky and velvety smooth to apply. It really does feel like it leaves a gorgeous layer on your skin. Now I have only used this as a base for my make-up, but I would be happy to use this as a moisturiser. I have to be honest and say I haven't noticed a change in the way my make-up lasts or the way it looks. I don't think it has any effect on my fine lines or pores either, but I will continue to use this product as I enjoy it's moisturising properties and the way it feels on application. This product is available on the ModelCo website for £30.00 (45ml), Link. This product is also available at boots.com for the same size and price. On the information I have this is also available at Debenhams, but I can not find it on the website sorry.

Next up I have some make-up applicators to review for you. The first one was sent to me for free to review by Kilpatrick PR. This is the EcoTOOLS Bamboo Blush Brush. This make-up brush comes from the 6 Piece Brush set which you can view on the EcoTOOLS website here. This brush has a bamboo handle, recycled aluminium ferrule and soft, cruelty-free bristles. The brush I have came with a resealable pouch as shown on the left. The brush is made from hand cut synthetic hair which is apparently the easiest type of brush to wash as it keeps the shape of the brush and dries it more quickly.

This brush does feel incredibly soft. I would not have recognised this to be a synthetic brush, but then I am no expert on make-up brushes. I have tried this with my bronzer for contouring and as a blush brush and although it does the job for both which is handy if you don't have enough room to take both brushes on the go with you for travel I prefer it as a blush brush. It feels very gentle on the skin. The bristles of the brush are domed, but the sides of the domed bristles are shaped to be more flat than circular. If you prefer your blush applied more circular on the apples of the cheeks then this may not work as well as other brushes as it has a more direct application. I prefer applying my blush in longer strokes toward my temples to emphasise my cheekbones so that's why I think this works well for me. You can buy this blush brush on boots.com for £7.99 or the set for £15.99. boots.com also have an offer at the moment on selected EcoTOOLS products of buy 1 get 2nd 1/2 price.

The brush on the right is the EcoTOOLS Bamboo Finishing Kabuki. I was given this product for free as part of goodie bag. The goodie bag I was given at this Speed Beauty Event where I was invited by Kilpatrick PR. I have not been asked to review this product, but I will anyway. This has a contoured handle for ease of use. It is made from synthetic taklon bristles which are 100% cruelty-free and has a bamboo handle. This brush can be used for powder, blush or bronzer. It also comes with a resealable pouch for storage. On the EcoTOOLS website it says this pouch has a zip-top closure, but mine has a plastic press closure a bit like a resealable sandwich bag.

I have tried this kabuki in three ways. I wanted to see how this worked as a foundation brush as I use a flat top brush at the moment for foundation application. This left streaks in my foundation, but I think that's because my usual foundation brush is a lot more dense and the bristles not so far apart. It felt uncomfortable to use in this way also as it felt a little bit spiky.

I washed the kabuki so that I could try it with powder products. It took a couple of days to dry and returned to it's original shape. The thing I think that ruins the shape slightly is when I take it in and out of the resealable pouch as the only way to grab it is by the bristles which splay out a little at the edges when being pulled from the pouch. I noticed one hair come out when I washed the kabuki, but I can't say if that will happen each time as I have only washed it gently once.

I tried this with blusher and I didn't feel like this was the right shape for it at all. I don't feel like I have much control over where the blusher is going and again it feels a little spiky on the skin, but I am hoping the kabuki will soften with more use. Don't get me wrong it's not scratchy just not as soft as the Blush Brush.

Lastly I tried this kabuki with my bronzer to contour my face. I contour under my cheekbones which this is great for due to the flat top that has movement so it's not too defined a line. I go around my temples, the sides and tip of my nose, under my jawline and over my neck and decolletage. I try to do this quite lightly all over as I am so light skinned and concentrate more under my cheekbones as that's where I want more definition.  This is the most perfect brush I have used for this area of my face so far and I would recommend it for this alone. The handle makes controlling the brush really easy too. I just wish the pouch was different. Here is the information for this product on the EcoTOOLS website, Link. You can buy this on boots.com for £9.99 where again you can take up Boots selected EcoTOOLS products buy 1 get 2nd 1/2 price.

The last products I have to talk about are these EcoTools Bamboo Cosmetic Applicators. These came in the same goodie bag mentioned above at the Speed Beauty Event. I did receive these for free. I was not asked to review them, but I will.

These have bamboo handles and soft, smooth, firm tips to line, shade and blend. They are meant to be used flat to apply a wash of shadow over the eyelid or use the tip to line, shape and contour. They can be used to apply concealer under the eyes or on blemishes over the face.

These look at first glance to be the type of eye shadow applicators you get in eye palettes. I usually just throw mine away as I normally do a lot of blending and contouring on my eyes with various brushes, but I gave these a try.

The tips feel a lot smoother than those that you get with eye palettes. These I found fine to use with applying a flat, light colour, but for contouring and darker shades these would not work well for me. They are great for travel as they are so small and you get 20 in each pack. There are 3 different sizes in the pack. I admit I have only used the applicators shown in the top of the pack in this link though. They are not too bad for lining the eyes with shadow. I can not say how they work for concealer as I have not used them for this. I could not find these on the boots.com website I'm afraid, but they should be available in store. EcoTOOLS are also available at Superdrug and Tesco, but I could not find them on their websites, sorry.

So that's all of my reviews for this post. If you want to try any of these products I think they all work in some way, but the one that stands out for me is the kabuki.

Thank you to Kilpatrick PR for sending me two of these products to review and for gifting me with the other two at the Speed Beauty Event. I have two other products sent to me by Kilpatrick PR yet to review and they will be coming soon.

Have you tried any of these products and are you a fan of them? Which products do you like/dislike from ModelCo and/or EcoTOOLS and why?

Love to you all

Pyjama Party

Hey loves. The sun is shining and I need a sun lounger. The ones I have had my eye on in Argos have all gone. Not impressed, but hey ho the hunt goes on. Today I had a little trip to a Chinese supermarket and Makro which was fun, but too much money has been spent. On the subject of spending money another little whoopsie will now appear as when I went to London on Friday I popped into the Oxford Street Primark which it pains me to say, but I don't like it much in there as it's soooooooooooo busy. I bought a few towels for our wee house, but I also slipped in a few pairs of PJ's for myself. Naughty I know.

Charcoal button top vest with floral tie waist shorts £5.00

I think these are very cute. Almost a bit countryesque or even Cath Kidston like.

Black slogan vest with gingham tie waist shorts £5.00

The shorts are really cute. This set is definitely to be worn on a day where I feel sorry for myself. The heart and word 'ME' are glittery too which is right up my street.

Hello Kitty white slogan vest with grey print tie waist shorts £8.00

If you know me you know I love Hello Kitty so these just had to be bought. The 'All About Me' slogan was too cheeky to resist also.

Please try to ignore the oh so unattractive way I had to hang the vests from the crutch of the shorts as it just worked out to be the best way to show you both parts of each set hanging up.

Have you found any Primark bargains lately? Are you a fan of shorts sets like these?

Dorothy Perkins Jewellery Sale Haul

Hi All. I popped up town today and while there I got a couple of things. I want to share with you in this haul the jewellery I got in Dorothy Perkins in the sale.

Bracelets reduced from £8.50 each to £2.00 each

I think these will be really pretty for summer, especially because of the candy shades. They are so easy to wear separately, together or with other jewellery.

I really wanted this set for the cross ring, but as this came with the other rings I'm sure I will use the others and perhaps stack them.

I love (yes I said love) this set of four rings. They are really cute and cool at the same time. I really like that I can wear the V ring on it's own as well as it's my initial :) I have a plaster on my thumb as I managed to slice it open when detaching these rings from the bloomin' packaging :(

One of these sets of rings was originally £12.50 and the other set was originally £10.00. One set was reduced to £2.00 and the other set was reduced to £3.00. Sorry I can't tell you which set is which as I was bleeding quite a bit and mixed up the packaging, oops!

So that's my wee jewellery haul. Some great bargains for a whopping wee total of just £9.00. That's £9.00 for 8 rings and 2 bracelets. Love it :)

Have you found any great jewellery recently or anything else in the sales? Do any of these products appeal to you?

Love to you all

NOTD: London 2012 Olympics Inspired

Ello again. With the London 2012 Olympics fast approaching I felt inspired to get a bit creative with a NOTD post so here goes.

Firstly I applied one coat of my usual Rimmel base coat. I then applied two coats of my Miss Sporty Clubbing Colours 1 Minute Metal Shine Nail Polish in Gold Backstage. I thought gold would be a great background shade as the Olympics is all about going for gold. You can pick up this shade on miss-sporty.co.uk for £1.99

I then applied a blob of my Miss Sporty Clubbing Colours Quick Dry Nail Polish in the shade Pop Fiction to a pad of lined paper. You can use kitchen towels for this step if you prefer. I have had this pad for ages. I think I bought it at Poundland. They have a similar pad for £1.00 here. This blue shade you can buy from boots.com for £1.99. Boots currently have a 2 for £3.00 offer on selected Miss Sporty Nail Polish also.

I then dipped the end of one of these straws into the blob of nail polish and stippled this onto my nail over the gold polish and repeated this process until I was happy with the pattern. I bought these straws a while ago I believe from Poundland as well. They currently have these pack of 250 red, blue and white straws for £1.00. Red, blue and white is so appropriate for the London Olympics.

I repeated this process on the next nail using the other end of the straw and my China Glaze Nail Lacquer in the shade Yellow Polka Dot Bikini. This shade is quite a highlighter colour. It is quite a thin formula. I found this on amazon.co.uk for £5.95 and amazon.com for $5.25.

I then snipped one of the used ends of the straw rather than wasting another one and stippled on this E.L.F. Nail Polish in the shade Black. You can buy this nail polish from eyeslipsface.co.uk for £2.50.

I did the same thing on the next nail using my Barry M Nail Paint in the shade Spring Green. You can buy this shade for £2.99 from superdrug.com. Superdrug also have the offer of buy 2 save £1.00. You can also buy this shade from barrym.com for £2.99. Please note on the Barry M website this shade is shown as np290.

My last nail shade that I stippled with is the Barry M Nail Paint Bright Red. You can buy this shade from boots.com for £2.99barrym.com for £2.99 where it is shown as shade np262 or superdrug.com for £2.99 or buy 2 save £1.00.

I finished off the look with a spray of my Elegant Touch Rapid Dry Spray.

Left Hand

Right Hand

I tried to find nail shades to represent the Olympic symbols and I quite like how stippling circles of these shades has worked out. I like the way these patterns look.

What do you think of this design? Have you created any Olympic inspired nail art? Will you be attending the Olympics?

Cosmopolitan Blog Awards 2012 With Next Shortlist

Hey loves. I hope you are all having a fab week. Time has been flying by so fast since I have been off work. I haven't actually travelled to work from my new home yet, but the journey isn't bad just one bus ride.

Today I just wanted to say congrats and good luck to all the Bloggers and Vloggers out there who have been shortlisted for the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards 2012 With Next. There are some Bloggers and Vloggers that I see on the shortlist that I have been following since before I even started my blog over a year ago. I am still quite a newbie in the blogosphere, continually inspired and motivated by the blogs I read and the videos I view. Keep up the good work beauties.

For those interested here is a link to those shortlisted, Link :)

If you have ever thought about writing your own blog just give it a go. It can be about anything that you are passionate about and want to share your thoughts on. I was so nervous when I started my blog thinking I would get loads of nasty comments or just no one reading it at all, but that hasn't been the case so far. I have had some lovely comments which still lift my day and I still find people reading my blog so I guess I'm doing okay.

I am always up for improving my blog though and keeping it interesting so if there are certain posts you would like to see then just let me know in the comments below and I will see what I can do.

NOTD: Cold As Ice

Hello you Beauts. I hope you have had a great weekend. I am writing this post pretty late as time is just flying by due to sorting out all the things in the house. It's never ending I swear. Do not go food shopping on the weekend as well it's a nightmare. Tonight I have a NOTD post for you showing off a very cool nail shade.

Firstly I applied one coat of my usual Rimmel base coat followed by two coats of this Natural Collection Nail Colour in the shade Topaz. I bought this shade a while ago in a haul. Selected Natural Collection Cosmetics are currently 3 for £5.00 at Boots. The usual price of the nail colours is £1.89. The Topaz shade on their website looks completely different though? I sealed the look with one coat of my Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat. This nail colour is a really icy blue silver shade.

Are you a fan of icy nail shades? What are your favourite nail colours from Natural Collection?

June 2012 JolieBox: 1st Birthday Limited Edition Box!

Well Ello my Hunnies. Boy have I missed you and missed blogging too. I hope you are all well and looking forward to the weekend. Today is Friday the 13th, but I hope that you all have a wonderful not awful day. In today's post I want to show you the products I received in my June 2012 JolieBox. This box is limited edition to celebrate JolieBox's 1st birthday.

I love this fun and pretty anniversary box. I think it definitely represents the brand well. In this edition of JOLIEMAG contents include the hottest beauty products in France right now, a step-by-step guide to applying a red lip, favourite JolieBox products and much more.

Inside the top and bottom lids of the box.

Just how cute are the little birds helping her paint her nails and apply her make-up.

Left To Right:

Elysambre Natural Lipstick (217201 Glossy Red Brown), £9.03 for the next 11 days, usually £11.29 for 3.5g

I do like this shade of lipstick. It is a berry red shade with a brown undertone. It looks very matte in the tube, but when I swatched it on my hand it felt quite smooth so I think I might like it as I can find matte lipsticks quite drying on my already very dry lips. This matte lipstick contains pearl and gloss which is what I think will hopefully help in keeping my lips moisturised. This has a small pop off lid. The lipstick itself has the typical lipstick scent, but it's not at all unpleasant. This is smaller than most of my lipsticks, but on my information card it states this is full size.

Institut Esthederm UV inCellium Spray, £42.50 for 150ml

This is a spray bottle as titled above. This has a soft, subtle scent like suncream as essentially that's what it is. You can also use this 7 days prior to sun exposure to protect your skin. Good if it works in preparation for a holiday I guess, but it's way expensive. I know it's meant to help prolong the length of your natural tan, but I would not pay this price. I could have done with this last week when I got very sun burnt though. Ironic really, ha ha.

L'Occitane Angelica Hydration Cream, £29.00 for 50ml

This is meant to be ideal for dry to normal skin and as mine is so dry hopefully this will work well for me. This feels very smooth and has a very natural, subtle scent. Almost like cucumber. This is a new product.

Yon-Ka Pamplemousse Protective and Vitalizing Cream Normal to Oily Skin, Price unknown

I'm sorry I can't tell you the price of this product as it doesn't say on my information card or on the Yon-Ka & JolieBox websites. This cream feels nice and has quite a zesty scent. This is not for my skin type, but I didn't fill in my beauty profile as I have had a lot of trouble with payment of my JolieBox's which I will explain later on in this post. I would have liked to try the cream meant for dry skin as a preference. The tube of this cream I have is 50ml which I'm not sure if is full size? I am not sure why I would be sent two face creams in the same box?

JolieBox Nail File, Free

This is a cute little extra that I will use. There are also a few discount codes in this box which is great.

Now onto the reason I will no longer be purchasing JolieBox's. Every month for the past few month's there has been some sort of problem with paying for my boxes. With my June box JolieBox could not rectify the problem. I received a new bank card a while ago, but once that had been updated on my details that payment went through, but for my June box this was not the case. I updated my GlossyBox bank card details and those boxes have been coming through fine so I have no idea what's going on. I don't really want to open a new bank card simply to pay for my JolieBox's and so this will be my last box. JolieBox very kindly sent me this June box for free due to the inconvenience of having this issue each month and I really appreciate it. I have really enjoyed this year with JolieBox and I hope they have another successful year. Happy 1st Birthday JolieBox! I will miss you :(

For more information on JoileBox please check out this Link.

Which products did you receive in you anniversary box? Are you happy with them? Have you had any payment issues?

I'm Back Baby Yeah!

Hi my loves. This is just a short post to say I'm alive and back online. I began moving into our new house with my fella on Wednesday and we are still bringing boxes of things over from our old abodes. We have been so busy each day, but today is the day we finally got our broadband and phone line connected. This means I can get back into blogging and he can enjoy gaming once again. I have a couple of posts in mind, but if there are specific posts that you would like to see then let me know in the comments below and I will attempt to accommodate you.

So that's all folks. I will make every effort to get a couple of posts out to you this week.

June 2012 Empties

Hi there loves. I hope your weekend has been great so far. Today I want to get straight into this post as I have a lot of empty products that I have used up in June. Here is a brief review of them all.

Handy Wipes, Cotton Pads, Eye Make-Up Remover, Collagen Filler & Face Cream

Left To Right:

Me To You 80 Handy Wipes Orange Scented ~ £1.00

Previously reviewed here.

2 x Johnson's Baby Cotton Pads ~ 99p Each Pack

Previously reviewed here.

Pure Revitalising Eye Make-Up Remover ~ £1.00

Previously reviewed here.

Superdrug Optimum Line Decrease Collagen Filler

I think this product is usually around £7.00, but I can't find it on the Superdrug website. I got it a bit cheaper at the time though. I wanted to try a different face serum so I gave this a go. It is said to smooth wrinkles and fill in fine lines. It directs you to use it morning and night on cleansed skin. My routine is to use a face wash in the shower, face scrub (twice a week only), then use a cleanser/make-up remover, toner, face serum and finally a moisturiser. Unfortunatley this didn't really do anything for me. It has a pleasent neutral scent and is a nice cream, but I noticed absolutley no difference to my lines and wrinkles.

I received this product in my May GlossyBox. This was a nice cream to use, but it's just not the type of scent that appeals to me.

Bath/Shower Gel, Bubble Bath, Body Scrub & Cotton Buds

Left To Right:

Noble Isle Summer Rising Bath & Shower Gel, £20.00 for 250ml on nobleisle.com

I received this in my May GlossyBox where you can see my thoughts.

Hello Kitty Liberty Bath Bubbles x 2

I received these 200ml/75ml bottles at Xmas time. You can find that post here. I love the scent and the packaging of these products. Just adorable. Unfortunately these were only available around Xmas time at Boots, but you may be able to search for them on Ebay or Amazon.

Soap & Glory Flake Away ~ Various Prices On ebay.co.uk

I received this product for Xmas too. That post is here. Although I like the scent of this product I don't like the way it feels when I apply it. I can feel the sweet almond oil in it. It's a little sticky and bitty. It makes me skin feel like it's getting a little warm. Not irritated or anything though.

Johnson's 200 Cotton Buds ~ £1.00 at tesco.com

I always throw the lids away on these so that's why it's not in my photo. These are just handy to use for make-up touch ups and to clean my ears. Nice huh!

Body Spray, Body Butter, Shimmer Gel & Fragrance/Perfume

Hello Kitty Liberty Body Spray

I received this in my Xmas gifts. That post is here. Again this was available in Boots at Xmas time, but you may be able to find it on Ebay or Amazon. The packaging and scent are lovely, but the spray bottle stopped working half way through using it which was annoying.

Gorgeous By Gok Rich Moisturising Body Butter x 2

These products I again received for Xmas, Link. Most people I know know I love this range. The packaging is so girly I just love it, but it's the scent that really gets me. It's quite rich and warming. You could go out without perfume or body spray if you apply this because the scent of this cream is gorgeous enough on it's own. I am not a fan of body butters because they get under my nails, but that wasn't a problem until I neared the end of the jars. This range again has been out only at Xmas exclusive to Boots, but it has come out for the last two years so I will be asking for more from the range if it's out again this Xmas. There are lots of links for this on Ebay so have a search if you fancy it.

Avon Spotlight Moisturising Shimmer Gel

I purchased this product in an Avon sale for 75p. You can see that post here. This gel has silver shimmers which look pretty in the sunlight, but make sure to wash your hands after applying it or everything will have shimmer on it. I am not bothered by the scent, but it is just a little bit chemically. I could not find this on the Avon website, but I found it on ebay.co.uk for 99p.

Please see my May GlossyBox post for my initial thoughts on this scent, Link. This is so gorgeous I really do want a bottle. Maybe I will put it on my Xmas wishlist this year.

Floss, Hand Cream & 2 x Foundation

Left To Right:

Boots Dental Floss ~ £1.89 for 50m

I have been using this product for ages. I like to floss every evening and this works fine.

Soap & Glory Hand Food

I think I received this product at Xmas time. I have purchsed this many times before as I like the scent. This tube however smelt a little pasty and was a bit watery so I think I had a dud one. I found this on ebay.co.uk for various prices.

Max Factor Ageless Elixir 2 in 1 Foundation + Serum SPF 15 (Light Ivory 40)

This is one of if not the best foundation I have tried so far. The only problem for me is that this shade is a little too light and the shade Natural 50 that was sent to me for free was a little too dark. You can see my review of shade Natural 50 here. I did make this shade Light Ivory 40 work a little better for me however by mixing it with my Eyeko Tinted Cream, but I found I used more product this way. There are so many links on Ebay for this where you can find a price to suit you.

Max Factor Miracle Touch Liquid Illusion Foundation (Creamy Ivory 40)

I love how compact this product is. I bought this at the same time that I bought the other foundation above when Boots were having a 3 for 2 as I was curious about it. The shade is quite light, but it matches ever so slightly better than the foundation above. The texture of this product is creamy and smooth. It was so easy to apply this with the sponge provided. The sponge worked really well without leaving any streaks on my face. The jar was very hard to twist open on my very first use, but once opened it was fine. I plan on keeping this to put tester foundations in and I will keep the sponge as it works so well. This is a brilliant product if you just can't be bothered with spending more than two minutes if that applying your foundation. Mum's on the go please note. My only downfall with this is it did show up dry patches on my forehead and eyebrows. If you are prone to dry skin like me you may not like it for that reason. This gives light to medium coverage. I found this on lloydspharmacy.com for £12.99 and cosmetics-skincare.co.uk for just £6.99.

The products I would buy in the future:
