4 Body Care Products From Boots & 99p Stores

Hey there beauts and happy Sunday to you. What have you been up to this weekend? Enjoying the fashion at London Fashion Weekend or the beauty at Olympia Beauty perhaps?  

Today I have a few product reviews for you for the body.

Left To Right:

Boots 24 Hour Protection Unfragranced Anti-Perspirant

I believe this was around £1.00 for 250ml. This alcohol free item worked well as an anti-perspirant. If you are not into scented products then this could be for you.

Impulse Loving Words Body Fragrance 75ml

I picked this up in the 99p Store. This was a really nice mixture of a fruity yet floral aroma. I like the twist tops on the Impulse cans as you don't lose the lid and the spray is not accidentally used if in your bag.

Boots Shower Cream 250ml

I believe this was less than £1.00. This had a lovely baby soft, creamy scent and the product felt nice on the skin. I am not a fan of shower washes with handle designs though as I always find that product is hard to get out of there and so some gets wasted.

Keep Clean And Moisturise Luxury Body Lotion Vanilla And Anise 250ml

This was another 99p Store purchase. Here is my original post from the range that I picked up. In those first impressions I said that the anise must give it an edge as the vanilla scent was not too sickly for me. I find some vanilla scents too overpowering, but this really is not. It smells much more expensive than 99p. The cream is lovely and thick, but the pump does stop retrieving product just over half way through the bottle. I find that pumps and thick creams always seem to end up doing this.

These are some great products for everyday use that I would certainly repurchase, especially due to their inexpensive cost.

2 Keep Clean And Shower Luxury Shower Gels

Hiya Everyone. I know Monday's are always a bit rubbish after the weekend so sit back, relax and enjoy a cuppa with this blog post :) I have two shower gel scents to talk about today from the same range so I will just get to it.

Keep Clean And Shower Luxury Shower Gels in Left: Pomegranate Noir & Right: Wild Fig And Cassis

Pomegranate Noir

I first described this as 'a very light scent that is soft, yet a little musky at the same time'. This is very subtle and a pleasure to use.

Wild Fig And Cassis

This I initially described as 'smelling like blackcurrant'. It definitely has a berry essence to it. Either blackcurrant or red grape. I looooooooove this one. The smell is fantastic and sweet.

Both of these are available to purchase from the 99p Stores for 99p each. I would definitely repurchase both of these because I love how they look and smell, plus they get me nice and clean :) You can view all of the products that I picked up from this range here.

Keep Clean And Shower

Hey Everyone. I hope you are enjoying your Sunday with the thought of no work tomorrow. Thank you bank holiday :)

Today I have two products to talk about so I'll just get on with it.

Keep Clean And Shower Luxury Shower Gel's

Left: Vanilla And Anise

This was the original statement I made about this scent:

'Now I can either love or hate a vanilla scent depending on how potent it is as I can sometimes find them to be a bit sickly, but this one is gorgeous. I think the Anise must just give it that edge.'

There is something about this scent that I find very calming. It gives the senses a kind of instant relaxation.

Right: Lime, Basil And Mandarin

Original Statement:

'This one smells refreshing and clean, but is a little more masculine. The above two scents (in original post) smell a little more expensive. I would say this could definitely be a unisex scent due to the fruit and herb combination.'

I probably wouldn't pick this one up again because it is the most masculine scent of this range, but that's not to say it wouldn't suit the taste of others as it is a very clean and shower fresh scent.

The flip tops on these bottles are very secure. The bottles are a little stiff so you may want to unscrew the top when nearing the end of the bottle. I love the simple 'Keep Clean' design.

Body Beauty: Bathe, Scent & Moisturise

Ello, ello all. Welcome back to Beautiful Addictions. Today I have three reviews for you of products for the body.

Left: Morrisons Creme Bath Orchid White 

Pour under warm running water to create a bath full of bubbles. Use within 24 months of opening.

I have already reviewed the shower creme of this range here. This has the same baby soft type of scent as that. It's very clean and pure. I believe this was less than £1.00 for 1 litre. Myself and my fella both use this and it has lasted us ages. It's good to know it's guy friendly too so it saves buying two separate bottles if you share. This actually produces a good amount of bubbles too. I have already bought another one of these and will do so again.

Centre: Revlon Charlie Red Perfumed Body Fragrance, Currently 84p for 75ml

Hold can 15cm from the body and spray.

My Mum bought me this in a set of four sprays for my birthday, Link. Mine is a 50ml can, but you can purchase the 75ml size from Superdrug shown in the link above. I usually wear body spray rather than perfume if I am just at home for the day so it's always good to try new ones. I remember being given a Charlie perfume when I was very young and I'm sure it featured some red in the design so I didn't have very high hopes for this one as I found the perfume too old for me. I know I am much older now, but that memory still made me feel like this may be a more mature scent. I was however nicely surprised as the mix of flowers and spicy fruits are pleasing. It's not expensive so if it's not for you it shouldn't be too much of a disappointment. 

Right: Keep Clean And Moisturise Luxury Body Lotion Pomegranate Noir, 99p for 250ml

Pump into hands and lather over your body.

I picked up this range in the 99p Stores, Link. I described this scent in that post as a 'very light scent that is soft, yet a little musky at the same time'. I would still have to agree with that. It's very creamy and a thick formula that feels great on the skin. More of a body butter than a lotion I would say. The cream itself I love, but the packaging doesn't work so well. I am not very good usually at getting these pump designs initially to pop up ready for use so the fella was called in and sorted it. About a third of the way into the bottle the cream seemed almost too thick to pass up the tube. I had to keep unscrewing the pump, swirling the cream around and using it from there. Eventually I went to the swirl and scoop method to get the product out as the pumps dispenser fell off. I could put it back on, but it just seemed easier to do it this way. Overall I still really like the cream. If you can find another pump to fit the bottle that might work better then this would be fab. I may just have a dodgy one, but I have the other scents to try and will let you know.

Keep Clean And .........

Hi my lovely Beauty Addicts. I hope that not too many of you are waking up feeling all groggy and hungover on this New Year's Day. We just had a quiet night in last night with pizza and TV.

In my last post I mentioned how the New Year feels to me like a fresh new start and with that in mind I thought why not show you these products I picked up a couple of weeks ago in the 99p Stores.

There have been many spin-off's of the 'Keep Calm And Carry On' caption which always catch my eye so of course I had to pick these up. For just 99p there is 250ml/8.45fl.oz in each product so I thought they would be worth a try.

Now I will try my best to describe the scents ......

Pomegranate Noir

A very light scent that is soft, yet a little musky at the same time.

Vanilla And Anise

Wild Fig And Cassis

This one smells like blackcurrant. The shower gel especially. The lotion is a loft softer in aroma though.



I really like the way the products look and smell. I don't think they look as cheap as they are and I would be happy to receive these as a gift.


I am really glad that I picked up these products now. I haven't tried them yet, but I will report back on how I get on with them. Overall so far I am really impressed and already want to buy some more in case they stop selling it. I might stock up just to make sure.
