LIMITED EDITION KAREN MILLEN LONDON SKYLINE GLOSSYBOX

Hi beauties. I hope you are having a great Sunday so far. I recently received my limited edition Karen Millen London Skyline GlossyBox which is a beautiful design. So here are my first impressions.

This product contains hair-like particles to give the appearance of fuller, thicker looking brows with it's quick dry gel formula. Remove excess from the brush and apply in short upward strokes. Use the tip to mould into shape. Dries to a natural finish in 60 seconds. Also available in a light/medium shade.

I haven't opened this yet as I am near to finishing off another product for my brows and don't want this to dry out. I have never used a product with hair-like fibres on my brows so this will be interesting to try. Apparantly Binky Felstead from Made In Chelsea is a fan.

A lightweight oil to pamper and care for all hair types. Leaving hair shiny, nourished and supple. Apply before blow drying to sections of the hair avoiding the roots.

I like the scent of this product. It feels really nice rubbing it into my hands so I am sure it will feel just as nourishing on my hair. This bottle came with a pump dispenser.

A gently exfoliating product to target dark spots, soften and brighten the skin. Apply a small amount to a damp face, neck or body. Massage in for 1-2 minutes. Leave on for another 1-2 minutes then rinse off. Use up to twice a week.

There are 2 samples of this in my GlossyBox so I guess enough for two uses. I have never used a peel only regular exfoliating products to remove dead skin cells and dirt so I will hopefully see even better results.

With anti-oxidant ingredients to boost collagen in the delicate under eye area. Hydrating dry areas by restoring lost moisture and activating blood circulation. Apply a small amount under the eyes. Gently massage around the orbital bone with the applicator until eye bags and puffiness are reduced in under 3 minutes. Can be refrigerated for a cooling effect. Apply day and night to reduce the appearance of bags, dark eye circles and improve skin tone.

There was no applicator with this product so I will just use my fingers. Hopefully this will work well as a part of my skincare regime.

Paint one coat on for a smooth matte finish.

I like how the bottle has a matte almost frosted look to match it's description. The lid on my bottle seems to stick out a little at the bottom edge as if it's a bit too big. Usually my Nails Inc. polishes have been flush with the line of the bottle. The lid also feels a little more cheaply made and is slightly chipped on the edge which is not good for a polish that costs £12.00. Other than these packaging flaws I hope the matte effect works well on top of my nail polishes.

A cocktail of 20 anti-aging power plants for younger looking skin. In just 2 weeks the product is meant to reduce lines and wrinkles. With continued use it will help to lift, plump up and firm the skin. Apply AM and PM to cleansed skin.

This sounds great so lets hope it works. I have never tried any Origins products so I am glad to be able to sample this brand.

Mother's Day Gift Hamper DIY

Hi there sweeties. Thank goodness for Friday eh? I was racking my brains of what to get my Mum for Mother's Day this Sunday and then I thought why not buy her the little things she loves and do the things for her that she appreciates.

My Mum does have a sweet tooth so I have included lots of chocolate goodness in this hamper. There are also some flowers for her garden which she likes spending time in. The hair dye she uses is in the hamper also as well as one of my Nails Inc. nail polishes that she loves. There is a card in there too which has slid down at the back.

I am going to make her lunch on Sunday, paint her nails and dye her hair. She has looked after me for many years so she should be pampered on Mother's Day.

I think the box will be great to store things in too. Excuse the cellophane wrapping and sellotape, but I have never used it before so I did my best :)

Card & Bow ~ Card Factory

Cellophane ~ Ryman

Box ~ Store Twenty One

Hair Dye ~ Superdrug

Nails Inc. Polish ~ Gifted from me

All other items ~ Poundland & 99p Store

So what do you think of this hamper idea for Mother's Day? Do you think it's something your Mum would like? Let me know your thoughts and other present ideas in the comments below.

NOTD: Nails Inc. Belgrave Square Nail Polish

Hey there beauts. Massive love to you all. Today I have a NOTD post for you. It's a gorgeous summer shade that I just can not hide from you and here it is.

I started off with one coat of my Rimmel stronger base coat followed by three coats of this Nails Inc. Belgrave Square Nail Polish. I usually want to only use two coats at most when painting my nails, but this shade is quite a thin formula. You can still actually see the tip line of nails through it. I have to say that this colour is gorgeous though. It's a very pinky coral with gold shimmer. Beautiful for this time of year. I finished off this manicure with my Elegant Touch Nail Drying Spray.

I am afraid I could not add a link in for this product as anywhere that did stock it appears to have sold out for now. I would suggest Ebay or Amazon if you really want this shade.

What are you favourite Nails Inc. shades? Are you a fan of coral on the nails? Let me know in the comments below.

Love to you all

NOTD: Nails Inc. Portobello Nail Polish

Hey lovelies. I woke up early today and thought why not blog so here I am. I painted my nails last night and here are the results.

I applied one coat of my Rimmel base coat followed by two coats of Nails Inc. Portobello. This is a gorgeous neon orange matte shade which I think can look like it has a very, very slight pinky undertone to it in some lighting. It's a really fun shade. For some reason I usually prefer neon shades on shorter nails so this came in at the right time as I cut my nails before applying this. I received this in my May GlossyBox. As usual I still don't like the metallic lid on these polishes because I find them less easy to control than others. I have received some nice shades in my GlossyBox from Nails Inc., but I would like to try other brands now. My bottle has little smudge marks on the front of which looks like nail polish so not good GlossyBox! I finished off my manicure with my nail drying spray from Elegant Touch.

You can pick this up for £9.90 at lookfantastic.com or amazon.co.uk both with free delivery.

What are your favourite Nails Inc. shades? Do you have any favourite neon's from another brand? Let me know in the comments below.

GlossyBox Turns 2

Hey everybody. Happy Friday to you all. I feel like this week has completely run away from me, but I wanted to sit down today and find time to blog. I have my latest GlossyBox treats to show you :)

GlossyBox has turned 2 this month and so there are some great treats in this box!

Givenchy Noir Couture Mascara No1 Black Satin, Currently £20.25 for 8g

Curl. Length. Volume. Care. Meet your secret weapon for sweeping healthy lashes.

Leave texture at the base of the lashes while keeping the brush horizontally. Extend the texture to the end of the lashes towards the exterior of the eye with the round shape of the brush in order to lengthen and curve the lashes. Start the same steps again and again to intensify the desired result.

I love trying out new mascaras, but I have just opened a new one so this will be next in line for a trial.

Caudalie Divine Oil, Price varies on size

The Beauty Elixir for your body, face and hair, the Divine Oil offers everything you need to make your skin positively exquisite.

Divine oil can be used on the body, face, hair, nails, added to a hot bath, or used as a massage oil.

I prefer dry oils as they massage into the skin nicely without leaving a greasy residue. Multitasking products are always handy too.

Premae Harmony Balm, £27.50 for 30ml

Harmony Creme Balm is absorbed, leaving a dewy feeling on the skin. The balm spreads wonderfully and is an excellent skin protector and primer, making it easy for applying foundation with a silky finish.

Apply sparingly over the face and neck twice daily after cleansing and toning.

Face creams are always something I love to try out too so I will see how this fairs.

Nails Inc. Portobello Nail Polish, £11.00 for 10ml

Portobello is a very flattering neon coral shade that suits every skin tone.

I am going to paint my nails with this either today or tomorrow so I will show you what I think of it in a post very soon.

Beautiful Movements Cosmetics Prime & Create Mixing Medium, £20 for 20g

When combined with mineral powders and pigments, this amazingly versatile product will allow you to create dozens of different make up finishes.
  • Use alone as a primer to give a matte, shine free base for flawless make up application.
  • Mix with mineral foundation and concealer powders for an airbrush effect and maximum coverage with a matte finish.
  • Mix with powder blushers and bronzers to create a cream tint for eyes, lips or cheeks.
  • Mix with eyeshadow pigments to create liquid eyeliners and intense eyeshadow finishes.
I am going to enjoy experimenting with this product.

My other 2 bonus products are some cute handbag sized nail files and a sample of Green & Blacks Organic Dark Chocolate which I have never tasted so yum.

I have been with GlossyBox since the beginning and I can't imagine life without my monthly treats from them now. Happy 2nd Birthday GlossyBox! You are ageing beautifully :)

NOTD: Nails Inc. Bruton Street Nail Polish

Hey Everybody. How are you all doing today in this wet weather? I have been to work and am now in the snug and warm thank goodness. Today I have a NOTD post for you.

I painted on one coat of my Rimmel base coat followed by two coats of Nails Inc. Bruton Street Nail Polish which I received in my GlossyBox this month. One coat would suffice with this nail polish as it covered the nails without streaking. This was however more gloopy and thick than I recall other Nails Inc. polishes to be. The shade itself is described as a dusky pink nude and I would have to agree. It looks a little grey mauve is some lighting. I took this photo at my Mum's as I painted our nails with it on Mother's Day (her birthday). We both love the colour and for my Mum to say that who never wears polish is a pretty big thing. I still don't like Nails Inc. Nail Polish lids though because I find them too hard to keep hold of due to the shape and texture. I sealed the manicure with my Elegant Touch Rapid Dry Spray.

You can pick up this nail polish for £11.00 for 10ml in Boots.

Are you a fan of Nails Inc. Nail Polishes or do you find them hard to control also because of the lid? Do you have any favourite Nails Inc. shades? Let me know in the comments below.

2 Product Reviews

Hellooooooooooo. How you doing then my loves? Today I have two product reviews for you and here they are :)

Left: 17 Clear Definition Mascara, £4.69 for 8ml

I have been using this mascara for years to tame my brows. It keeps them in place without leaving any noticeable residue or flaking. It looks a little mucky because of different brow products I have used prior to applying this, but trust me it's clear. The writing has rubbed off a bit, but that is because I seriously have had this a long time. I can't even think how long. It's definitely a product you get your money's worth out of. I have repurchased this many times.

Right: Nails Inc. Kensington Caviar Top Coat, £12.00 for 10g

I received this product in my November GlossyBox. As a top coat this worked well and dried pretty quickly. It claims to be touch dry in 45 seconds. It does dry extremely well, but I wouldn't say it was completely dry in that time. It does give a nice glossy finish to the nails. As with all Nails Inc. polishes I do get frustrated by the glossy rounded lids as they tend to slip from my hands while I am painting my nails. I know this is a sample size, but the brush was quite small so it took a little more work to fully coat each nail. I used about two thirds of this product before it began to go gloopy. Overall a pretty good top coat, but I wouldn't buy it because I don't like the lid.

Do you have any favourite brow and/or 17 products? How do you find Nails Inc. polishes and do you have any favourite shades? Which top coats do you recommend? Let me know in the comments below.

March 2013 City Chic GlossyBox

Hello my loves. I have worked some overtime today and feel a bit knackered, but it was a nice surprise to come home and find my GlossyBox waiting for me. It always makes me smile. This month's box contains hard-working, multi-tasking, heavy-duty products that give a high-maintenance look with minimum time, money and effort.

The GlossyBox Little Black Book Of Style

GlossyBox shares it's pick of some of the capital's best fashion and beauty destinations. There are some cool stickers inside too.

Bottom Left: Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant Fragrance Free, £18.00 for 30ml or £25.00 for 50ml

This skincare classic works efficiently to sooth roughness, redness and minor skin irritations. This award winning cream has also been praised by make-up artists and beauty editors for many years now and no self respecting model would be without this cult product in their make-up bag. First created in 1930 by Elizabeth Arden to soothe skin, Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant became an instant and overwhelming success. Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant also aids in the temporary relief of chapped lips, smoothes rough spots on your knees, feet and elbows and softens tough, hard cuticles and hangnails. Dermatologist, clinically and allergy tested. Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant is suitable for all skin types. A little goes a long way with this intensive moisturiser, so enjoy it sparingly.

I will keep this product for particularly dry areas and minor skin irritations, but I did buy this for myself once before in a full size tube when it was very hyped up. I never replaced my tube because I don't really like the scent of this product which considering it's meant to be fragrance free is a little bizarre? It has a balmy texture.

Bottom Centre: Nails Inc. Bruton Street Nail Polish, £11.00 for 10ml

Bruton Street nail polish is a dusky pink nude shade. Bruton Street is ideal for a sophisticated, everyday look. Apply 2 coats after Kensington Caviar Base Coat, followed by one coat of Kensington Caviar Top Coat.

I really like the look of this polish and will apply it to mine and Mum's nails tomorrow as it's Mother's Day/Mum's birthday and I said I would do Mum's nails for her.

Bottom Right: L'Occitane En Provence Immortelle Precious Cream, £43.00 for 50ml

Ideal for normal to dry skin, the Immortelle Precious is a rich, smooth moisturiser which visibly corrects deep wrinkles and improves firmness.

The combination of organic immortelle and organic immortelle cell extracts offers:

Smoother skin: Immortelle stimulates collagen production, which helps fill in deep wrinkles and restructure the epidermis for smoother skin.

Firmer skin: The support network of the skin is reinforced.

Younger skin: Micro-circulation is boosted to stimulate cell renewal. Skin is protected from free radicals.

The epidermis is re-invigorated, soft and comfortable. Skin is smoother and firmer, its youthfulness is prolonged. Non comedogenic. Tolerance dermatologically tested.

It has a seal on it that I don't want to break until I start using it as I am trying and testing out other skincare at the moment, but I will let you know how I get on with this when I try it.

Top: Tresemme Salon Finish Extra Hold Hairspray, £4.69 for 500ml

This spray won’t give you a helmet head but will hold your style through wind and rain. This fantastic hairspray refuses to let frizz take root, thanks to its humidity-resistant formula that keeps flyaways smooth for 24 hours. As an added bonus it's water-free formula goes on dry, giving hair grip and control without stickiness for frizz-free hold.

I have already tried some Tresemme hairspray's which I have liked so I am pretty sure that if it's of the same standard this one will be good too. It has that typical hairspray old school scent.

Centre: Jelly Pong Pong Cosmetics Lip Blush (Cranberry), £12.00 for 2.5g

A moisturising lip stain that tints your lips with just the right amount of juicy colour and hydrates like a balm. Apply liberally, purse and let the silky lightweight texture melt onto your lips.

Bonus : Made with beeswax and ceresin wax for a sheer, smooth application.

The information I have says this is a multi-tasker, but there is nothing to say that it is also made for the cheeks as well as the lips. I presume it's meant for both as it's a Lip Blush? Also there is no shade name on the product, but I presume this is the shade Cranberry because there are only two shades in the link above and this looks like it. This is a twist up crayon that feels like it could twist up easily if it was in my bag/make-up bag because the bottom is a little loose and I prefer a click shut lid to prevent mess too.

This feels like a very smooth and moisturising product, although I have only swatched it on my hand. I would say this is more of a strawberry shade than cranberry. It does have a sheer finish, but is also buildable. I look forward to giving this a go. I think it's a great shade for spring/summer.

Overall the lip stain and nail polish are the stand out products of this box for me. I love trying out new skincare too so I hope the L'Occitane product will work well.

November 2012 GlossyBox: Stocking Fillers

Hello my little Beauty Addicts. Today I have my November GlossyBox to show you. This month it's all about gift ideas for Xmas. I'm starting to worry a bit now as the only pressies I have bought have been for my Secret Santa at work. Everyone else seems to be so much more prepared than me for Xmas, eek!

Anyway here are the products ....

Left: Dr. Jart+ Water Fuse Beauty Balm, £18.00 for 50ml

Flawless skin instantly with all-in-one multifunctional Water Fuse Beauty Balm. SPF 25. A cult product in Korea.

Apply evenly to cleansed and toned face. Add a second layer to increase coverage. Avoid contact with eyes. If product gets into eyes rinse well with water. Avoid contact with fabrics.

I have only tried one BB Cream so far which I fell in love with. That was the Ginvera Green Tea Nude Cover BB Cream. You can find my full review on that product here. This product claims to give a bright and glossy complexion. Bright I like the idea of, but glossy I'm not sure on. This is an oil-free hydrating moisturiser that holds water. It also has aloe. It sounds thirst quenching which should hopefully be great for my dry skin. I will definitely try this out and let you know how I get on.

Right: Burberry Body Eau De Parfum, £75.00 for 85ml

An effortlessly sensual fragrance. Top notes of fresh green absinthe, illuminating peach and delicate freesia; at its heart are floral notes of natural rose absolute and iris, gently blended with warm sandalwood. Its base is made up of woody cashmeran, creamy vanilla, amber and musk notes.

I have already tried this product when I received it in my October 2011 Feelunique Beauty Box. You can see my thoughts in that post. This sample bottle is more attractive though.

Left: Alison Claire Natural Beauty Mango Body Butter, £15.00 for 200ml

Made with organic mango and cocoa butters; this contains the anti-aging influence of retinol, antioxidant action from green tea, mango and vitamin E, and anti-microbial protection. This is a new brand. This product was not tested on animals and is suitable for sensitive skin.

OMG this stuff smells amazing like refreshing fruity sweets and sinks into the skin straight away. I love the pump design as not too much product comes out. I will be using this for sure.

Centre: Nails Inc Kensington Caviar Topcoat, £11.00 for 4g

A must have product. This top coat will give your nails wet look shine whilst nourishing the nails with added caviar extract. As if that wasn’t enough, this incredible top coat is touch dry in just 45 seconds. Sunday Times Style Beauty Award Winner.

I am on the lookout for a new top coat so maybe this could be the answer? Watch this space.

Right: Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant, £38.50 for 75g

This gentle micro-exfoliating power utilized Rice bran and botanical brightening agents to smooth skin texture and balance pigmentation for a more even complexion. Models Favourite!

I think I have heard of this powder to creamy paste facial exfoliator before. It says for daily use, but I'm not sure how my skin will handle that as I only exfoliate my face twice a week. I will test it out and let you know how it goes.

So that's all of the products. Which products did you receive in this month's box? Are you pleased with them. Do you already have these products and have thoughts on them? Let me know in the comments below.

Feelunique December Beauty Box

Hey there my gorgeous ones. I thought I would show you the products that I received in this month's Feelunique Beauty Box which is named 'Finishing Touches'. So here goes.

Left To Right: TIGI Bed Head Candy Fixations Sugar Dust, Link :), Annick Goutal Mandragore Eau De Toilette, Link :), Clarisonic Refining Skin Polish, Link :)

TIGI Bed Head Candy Fixations Sugar Dust ~ £9.35 for 1g

The Information:

TIGI Bed Head Candy Fixations Sugar Dust is a quick fix invisible micro-texture root powder for your style addiction.

- Instant root lift
- Adds texture with medium hold
- Absorbs oil in the hair

Application:

Use TIGI Bed Head Candy Fixations Sugar Dust on dry hair. Part hair to where you want volume and sprinkle directly onto the roots to absorb oil and tease for instant volume, or sprinkle throughout layers for texture with staying power. Massage into hair using fingertips for instant volume that lasts.

This has a salt and pepper style container with holes in the top of the lid for the sprinkle action.

Annick Goutal Mandragore Eau De Toilette ~ £62.05 for 100ml/£43.35 for 50ml

The Information:

A vibrant fragrance that combines the freshness of bergamot, star of anise, peppermint, ginger, boxwood, and mandrake. A magical potion that acts as a soothing balm for the skin.

This is a fragrance intended for men or women on a quest for mystery, sensuality, and elegance.

Top Notes: Bergamot and pepper
Heart Notes: Mint and star anise
Base Notes: Boxwood, ginger and mandrake

I'm not too sure if I like this fragrance. I do like the dark, mysterious looking bottle that it came in. The bottles shown on the feelunique website look very different from this. Quite classic and chic. Maybe the fact that this scent is intended for both men and women is why I am undecided if I like it. I can't seem to put my finger on how I would define this scent. The tassel's on the bag that the perfume came in add to the look.

Clarisonic Refining Skin Polish ~ £21.00 for 177ml

The Information:

A refining skin polish that exfoliates, firms and smoothes areas of the body needing extra care. For all skin types. Developed by Robb Akridge, PhD, as an intensive, three-tier refining solution specially formulated for sonic cleansing to exfoliate, firm and smooth. Antioxidants Green Tea and wine extracts provide anti-inflammatory properties. Jojoba beads, prickly pear and acai fruit oil hydrate and moisturise. This polish provides gentle exfoliation for areas of the body needing extra care, including the décolleté, hands, arms, elbows and feet. Paraben-free and pH-balanced.

Application:

Apply generously to face and neck, massaging gently with circular movements and rinse off with warm water. Combine with Clarisonic Cleansing System to remove up to x6 more impurities.

I have always been curious about the Clarisonic, but I just didn't want to pay the price for the system. I wonder if using this product without the exfoliating brush will work any better than the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish? I am looking forward to trying this out though.

Left To Right: Nails Inc. Oxford Circus Limited Edition Nail Polish, Link :), Figs & Rouge Sweet Geranium 100% Organic Balm, Link :)

Nails Inc. Oxford Circus Limited Edition Nail Polish

The Information:

Accessorize nails with the soft pink candy shade of Oxford Circus. This super glossy, chip resistant, professional formula creates a long lasting, beautifully hued shade that gives your look a super stylish edge. Inspired by the busiest trend-led shopping area of London, this is as on trend as can be!

I think this is a really pretty shade that I would definitely wear, but I do already own shades like this. I would have expected a more Xmassy shade in my December box though. Perhaps something metallic or glittery? The bottle is very cute in size, but really quite tiny compared to other bottles I have received in various beauty boxes. The plus is that the shape of this lid looks easier to grip onto than the usual ones that come with the full size Nails Inc. Nail Polishes. I have added the link above when searching for this shade on the feelunique website, but I can not seem to find this actual shade? I know it's limited edition, but I thought it might be on their website at least over Xmas?

Figs & Rouge Sweet Geranium 100% Organic Balm ~ £3.49 for 8ml

The Information:

Brand new organic Soil Association Certified balm. Intensively moisturising and hydrating. Fully recyclable packaging and components.

Application:

Use on lips, face and body for an intensive and organic moisture boost.

Ingredients: Helianthus annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Butyrospermum parkii, (Shea butter), Cera alba, Rosa canina, Fruit Oil, Calendula officinalis, Flower Extract, Pelargonium graveolens, Caranga odorata Oil. Benzyl Alcohol*, Citral*, Eugenol*, Benzyl salicylate, Geraniol Farresol linalool Benzoate citonelloi, limonene (*Naturally occuring component of essential oils).

100% organic is great. I love the look of the vintage tin. This has a herbal scent to it.

Living Nature Vitalising Cleanser ~ £17.45 for 100ml

The Information:

Living Nature's gentle Vitalising Cleanser is great at lifting impurities from the skin while maintaining valuable moisture levels. Gentle enough to use on the most delicate skins. This product can be used on normal, dry and mature skin.

Application:

Use generously morning and night. Gently smooth onto face and remove with a warm face cloth or tepid water. Pat your face dry before applying your Living Nature toning treatment.

Hero ingredients: Manuka Honey for its antiseptic properties and enzymes and Kumerahou for its natural lathering properties.

I am happy to try this cleanser, but it's quite a small sample so I probably wouldn't buy the full size based on how my skin works with this due to the price.

Living Nature Extra Hydrating Toning Gel ~ £12.40 for 50ml

The Information:

This nutrient-rich gel tones and restores the skin’s ideal pH balance, while giving extra moisture and refreshment to thirsty skin – with Harakeke, Active Manuka Honey and Larch Tree extract. Also soothes sunburn. For normal to dry and mature skin.

Application:

Each morning and evening smooth a small amount onto your face and neck after cleansing. Wait 30 seconds, then resume your Living Nature regime.

Hero ingredients: Manuka Honey for its nourishing qualities and Harakeke (New Zealand flax) gel for its soothing & hydrating properties.

Ingredients INCI: Aqua (water), Glycerin (vegetable glycerine), Simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil**, Butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter**, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (from coconuts), Cetyl Palmitate (from olive oil), Sorbitan palmitate (from olive oil), Sorbitan olivate (from olive oil), Galactoarabinan (larch tree gum), Sclerotium gum, Glucose (plant sugar), Parfum (natural fragrance)*, Mel (manuka honey), Phormium Tenax leaf juice (NZ flax gel), Olea europaea (olive) leaf extract, Glucose oxidase (from milk), Lactoperoxidase (from milk), Tocopherol (vitamin E), Leptospermum scoparium (manuka) oil, Citronellol*, Limonene*, Linalool*.
* From natural essential oils ** Certified organic.

I'm sure this will be a nice enough product. I will have to wait and see.

Living Nature Nourishing Day Cream ~ £19.75 for 50ml

The Information:

Treat your skin with this nutrient rich day cream that has been formulated to deliver nourishment and protection, optimising your skins health. A unique blend of Manuka Honey and Shea Butter will restore valuable moisture. A lovely, smooth cream suitable for normal to dry skins.

Application:

After cleansing and hydrating, apply liberally to your face and neck using gentle upward sweeps.

Hero ingredients: Manuka Honey for its antiseptic and humectant qualities and Totara Extract for its strong antioxidant properties - to neutralise free radicals linked to skin ageing.

Ingredients INCI: Aqua (water), Cetearyl olivate (from olive oil), Sorbitan olivate (from olive oil), Squalane (vegetable squalane), Caprylic/Capric triglyceride (from coconuts), Persea gratissima (avocado) oil, Parfum (natural fragrance)*, Butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter**, Glucose (plant sugar), Mel (manuka honey), Phormium tenax leaf juice (NZ flax gel), Triticum vulgare (wheat) germ oil, Sclerotium gum, Olea europaea (olive) leaf extract, Glucose oxidase (from milk), Lactoperoxidase (from milk), Oenothera biennis (evening primrose) oil, Tocopherol (vitamin E), Leptospermum scoparium (manuka) oil, Totarol (totara extract), Benzyl benzoate*, Benzyl salicylate*, Citronellol*, Farnesol*, Geraniol*, Limonene*, Linalool*. *From natural essential oils **Certified organic.

I am looking for a new face moisturiser so maybe this product will amaze me?

So my thoughts on this month's box are this. I am happy to try the Clarisonic Refining Skin Polish and even the samples from the Living Nature range. The Nails Inc. Oxford Circus Limited Edition Nail Polish is a shade I like, but nothing new. The TIGI Bed Head Candy Fixations Sugar Dust and the Figs & Rouge Sweet Geranium 100% Organic Balm are similar to products that I have received in other beauty boxes that I have received recently so unfortunately this is not a stand out box for me.

What products did you receive in your feelunique Beauty Box this month? What did you think of them? For more information on the feelunique Beauty Box please see the link here :)

NOTD: Remembrance Day/Poppy Day

Hello Sweethearts. First off who is excited for the last episode of TOWIE tonight? I know I'll be watching it. For now though I thought I'd write this post on my NOTD. With Remembrance Day/Poppy Day approaching I thought it would be fitting to add a touch of poppy inspiration to my nails in remembrance of those who sacrificed their lives during the two World Wars.

I applied my usual Rimmel base coat. Then I applied 2 coats of Nails Inc. Pembroke Close. The first coat looked quite thin, but the second coat sorted this out. I love this purple shade. As I have mentioned in another post I do find the lid on Nails Inc. polishes a bit hard to keep control of due to the shiny surface and the shape. I then used the Nails Supreme Nail Art Pens to create a poppy (sort of) on my ring fingers. I'm not too bothered that they are not perfect shapes. I quite like just adding a bit of nail art to one nail sometimes so that I can show off the main nail colour a little more. I then added my usual top coat to all fingers except the ring fingers as I thought I may smudge them before taking these photos. I ended up smudging the poppy in the top photo anyway so I should have just applied it, haa haa. I don't think this Nails Inc. nail polish shade is available anymore, but you could probably find it on ebay.

Have you picked up a poppy? Have you created any nail art that you think I might like?

NOTD: Nails Inc. Tate With Some Sparkle

Hi there you wonderful lovelies. In the latest issue of Glamour Magazine I received a free Nails Inc. Nail Polish in the shade Tate. Thank you once again Glamour Magazine for another fabulous nail colour. Also they are the only magazine that I am subscribed to that still sends me my free gift in the post. That earns them big points with me. Anyway, on to today's post. With the upcoming Guy Fawkes celebrations this weekend I thought it might be nice to paint my nails in a sparkly fashion.

Left: 99p Stores Clear Nail Polish with Pink/Multi Glitters, Right: Nails Inc. Tate Nail Polish

First I applied my usual Rimmel base coat, then two coats of the Nails Inc. Tate Nail Polish. I think this is a gorgeous, classic red that went on really smoothly. My only criticism of this polish is because of the shape of the lid and it's shiny surface that it slipped out of my hand and I painted my coffee table. Big whoops. I much prefer square lids with a rubber or matte surface as they are easier to open and grip on to so that you have full control when applying your nail polish. Here is a link to the Nails Inc. website, Link :)

I then applied four coats of the 99p Stores Nail Polish. This was because hardly any glitter came out on application and so I had to build it up. This did come in a pack of three glitters for 99p though so at 33p for just this nail polish it's nothing to cry about. This nail polish does not have a name and does not appear on the 99p Stores website.

Please excuse my messy manicure as I always try to tidy up the edges after painting my nails, but my nail polish remover was just useless this evening.

Have you found any great glitter nail polishes? What are your Nails Inc. favourites?

Nail Of The Day: Nails Inc. Victoria

Hi you gorgeous loves. I don't know about you, but the weather has been so weird here. Brilliant sunshine one minute then pouring rain the next. Oh well that's Bank Holiday weekends for you. So now on to today's post.

Nails Inc. Victoria

Today's Nail Of The Day is a fabulous shade from Nails Inc. named Victoria. There is no way that I couldn't love it by the name alone right, haa haa. This is a fantastically blood red shade. It may look a bit chocolaty here, but trust me it is a great vampy red.

I actually received this with a copy of Glamour Magazine a couple of years ago. In fact I have two as they sent me the same shade again when they had the same free gift a year later. Another shade would have been cool to try, but I guess they thought I may like it because of the name?

Are you into vampy shades like this? Do you have any Nails Inc. favourites?

NOTD: Nails Inc. Tudor Way

Hi there my Hunnies. I hope you are having good weekends so far? Today I have steered away from the more summery shades that I have had on my nails lately and gone for this darker hue.

Nails Inc. Tudor Way

I think this is a great colour that is dark enough to be sleek, but is not as harsh as black. I purchased this polish in a set of 10 nail polishes at Christmas time for about £30. Such a bargain from TK Maxx.

Are you into blue nail polishes? Do you have any Nails Inc. favourites?

Love to you all
