EUCERIN HYALURON-FILLER RANGE

Hi there beauties! I know it's been a while, but rather than chatting about that I am going to get straight into today's review of some products that were sent to me to sample.

HYALURON-FILLER DAY CREAM - DRY SKIN

This cream has been created to plump up the skin disguising lines and wrinkles and retaining water to lessen the opportunity for new ones appearing. Perfect for under make-up.

HYALURON-FILLER NIGHT CREAM

With an overnight regeneration formula skin feels soft and well cared for.

HYALURON-FILLER EYE CREAM

Particularly targeting crows feet this product helps to smooth out the delicate eye area for a more youthful appearance.

HYALURON-FILLER CC CREAM - LIGHT

This product has skin smoothing properties, but is also a colour correcting make-up moisturiser to even out the skin tone. It can be worn under foundation if extra coverage is needed.

Each product in the clinically-tested Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler range contains a combination of high and low Hyaluronic Acid as well as bio-active Glycerin Saponin, to help plump even the deepest of wrinkles from within!

Before agreeing to sample these products I asked this question:

I must admit to not knowing much about the ingredient Glycerin Saponin. I am assuming that it is a natural ingredient safe for all skin types?

Reply:

Soy-derived bio-active Glycine-Saponin is proven as one of the most effective substances for enhancing natural Hyaluronic Acid production, and as an ingredient, is present in many different skincare products. It stimulates fibroblasts, the skin cells responsible for dermal Hyaluronic Acid production, to boost synthesis of new Hyaluronic Acid. It is perfectly safe to use on the skin and has no known side effects.

Overall thoughts:

I have to say that the day cream, night cream and eye cream in this range have worked absolute wonders for my skin. I have used some great skincare products in my time, but my skin has never felt smoother. I had noticed I was developing more lines around my eyes recently, but these products, especially the eye cream have helped to reduce them fantastically. They are just magic and I would totally recommend them for anyone with dry and/or ageing skin. They create a great base for your make-up to go on more smoothly too.

The CC Cream looked a bit too dark for my skin tone when I pumped it out, but once blended in it looked quite natural. It did even out my varying skin tones to some degree and once I had applied my concealer and other make-up it didn't look too bad. However if you prefer more coverage I would use it as a base under foundation as suggested.

EUCERIN CC CREAM & SPF SKINCARE

Hi beauties. I hope you are all fabulous as always. Today I have some product reviews for you from the Eucerin range that were sent to me to try out. They are focused on SPF protection, but there is also a CC cream in the mix too so read on ......

EUCERIN SUN FLUID ANTI-AGE SPF 50

With a long lasting matt finish effect this high factor daily sunscreen protects against sun-induced skin damage. With intense moisturisation it reduces the appearance of wrinkles on the face and decolletage.

This product has a very light texture and sinks into the skin easily. I wore it under make-up without any issue as it is not like some sunscreens that can be quite greasy. Although it has a mattifying effect it did not dry out my already dry skin. It just kept it even in texture.

EUCERIN SUN CREME TINTED CC FAIR 50+

Suitable for sensitive skin types and fair complexions. With a mattifying effect and tinted cream that also protects the skin from sun damage.

This is also very lightweight and sinks in really easily. It again mattifies, but does not cause problems for my dry skin. Although the product is tinted I would not say it gave me natural tan skin tone. The colour disappeared into nothing and instead the product worked as an excellent primer, especially under make-up. My imperfections were blurred and my skin looked more even prior to make-up application.

These two products are great as part of your every day skincare and if you are wearing it make-up routine.

EUCERIN SUN CREME FACE SPF 50+

Made for dry skin this water-resistant sunscreen protects against skin age-ing and pigment spots.

EUCERIN SUN LOTION EXTRA LIGHT BODY SPF 50

This non-sticky, non-greasy water resistant formula absorbs easily into the skin giving you a high level of sun protection.

These two products are easy to use and perfect for on the go sun protection.

EUCERIN AQUAPORIN ACTIVE MOISTURISER

Hi everyone and welcome to today's post. I was recently asked if I would like to try out another product from the Eucerin AQUAporin range and give my thoughts. I have dry skin and asked to try out the Eucerin AQUAporin ACTIVE for dry skin. It wasn't until a few days after I started using the product that I realised I had been sent the one for normal to combination skin, but I will still give you my thoughts on how the product worked for me.

EUCERIN AQUAPORIN ACTIVE FOR NORMAL TO COMBINATION SKIN

Info:

Provides intense 24 hour hydration for refreshed, supple, smooth and radiant skin.

My thoughts:

I have enjoyed applying this moisturiser. It has a lovely silky feel that melts easily into the skin. It does add some radiance and my skin certainly does feel supple after application.

However, I do feel that my make-up seems to not last as well and goes a bit patchy throughout the day where it is drying up. My skin does become a lot drier in winter and as this product is not exactly suited to my skin type I can not be too critical.

So my final thought can only be to say that this product was not meant for my skin type and so that is why it could not deliver 100%.

EUCERIN AQUAPORIN ACTIVE REVITALISING EYE CARE CREAM

Hi sweeties. I have been testing out this Eucerin eye care product which was sent on to me for review purposes so here are my thoughts.

EUCERIN AQUAPORIN ACTIVE REVITALISING EYE CARE CREAM

The claims of this eye contour moisturiser are that it adds hydration to give smooth, supple and radiant skin while reducing puffiness and dark circles as well as fine lines. Compatible with sensitive skin and suitable for contact lens wearers.

So does it work?

I found this to be very hydrating keeping puffiness and dark circles at bay. I do not however suffer too often with dark circles though.

I applied this morning and night after my face moisturiser. It works fine under make-up. 

The metal applicator that the product is squeezed through at the end of the tube feels very cooling on the skin which I think aids in reducing puffiness. I do find that it can be a little hard to control the amount of product that comes out so I tend to squeeze a bit out before pressing it onto my skin and smoothing under the eyes. I end up using my finger to smooth excess product into my skin and to wipe the metal part of the tube as it does end up with cream around it.

I think the metal part of the tube is an innovative design, but because it gets a bit messy I guess that is the only negative I can find.

All in all a nice eye cream, but it's not wowed me as much as I had hoped.

EUCERIN DERMATOCLEAN 3 IN 1 MICELLAR CLEANSING FLUID & EYE MAKE-UP REMOVER

Hi once again today beauties. I have been enjoying testing out a couple more skincare products recently which I want to share with you.

EUCERIN DERMATOCLEAN 3 IN 1 MICELLAR CLEANSING FLUID

Eucerin DermatoCLEAN Micellar Cleansing Fluid is an effective yet gentle 3 in 1 cleanser, toner and eye make-up remover. PH balanced for all skin types, including sensitive skin, it actively helps maintain skin’s moisture levels whilst sweeping away any oil, debris or make-up leaving skin purely cleansed and hydrated, allowing skin to breathe. Skin is left prepped for moisturiser or make-up.

This product was fantastic to use. With a cotton pad I swept the product around my face and neck to remove oils and dirt and if I had worn it make-up. It felt pure and clean on the skin like water without any residue. It was good at removing mascara too although waterproof mascara needed a little more help.

EUCERIN DERMATOCLEAN EYE MAKE-UP REMOVER

Eucerin DermatoCLEAN Eye Make-Up Remover removes even stubborn waterproof eye make-up helping provide a clean slate for your skin to breathe. Effective without being harsh or drying on the sensitive eye area, it is also suitable for contact lens wearers.

This did work very well at completely removing waterproof mascara without being harsh.

I would totally recommend both of these products. I love the convenience of the Micellar Cleansing Fluid as I don't usually wear waterproof mascara and it's a cleanser as well as a toner so no need for separate products.

These products are suitable for all skin types, but sensitive skins should definitely try these products out. They are free of fragrance, alcohol, and anionic surfactants.

CLEANSING TIPS!

1. KEEP IT SIMPLE

Gentle is best. Although it may feel good to scrub your skin until it shines, keep in mind that the oils you’re scrubbing off are part of what keeps your skin healthy. While it’s true that exfoliating dead skin cells is important, they also form the barrier between your dermis (the under part of your skin) and the outside world. Plus sebum, the oil your skin produces, guards against skin cells’ dehydration, so try to exfoliate no more than 1-2 times per week.

2. MAKE IT A RITUAL

It's so important to remove make-up and cleanse your skin after a long day. To ensure you always do it, make a ritual of removing your make-up each night. When you are really tired or simply don’t have time, Eucerin DermatoCLEAN 3 in 1 Micellar Cleansing Fluid will make the job quicker and easier for you.

3. SWEEP IT AWAY

When using cotton pads to cleanse the face, sweep in small circular motions upwards and outwards to increase circulation and leave your skin looking radiant. Apply a small amount of Eucerin DermatoCLEAN Micellar 3 in 1 Cleansing Fluid and gently sweep over the skin from the centre of your face towards the hairline. Remember don’t rub too hard.

4. LET IT BREATHE

Even after a big night out, don’t forget to remove your make-up, your skin will thank you for it the next day! Although it’s tempting to fall straight into bed, the Eucerin DermatoCLEAN Eye Make-Up Remover makes it quick, easy and effective to take away all remnants of your eye make-up leaving it fresh for the next day.
