H&M HAUL

Hi beauties. I picked up some pieces from one of my favourite stores recently as I had some Xmas vouchers so here they are :)

These black trousers have a D ring buckle which is very on trend at the moment and a wrap over element to conceal the zip. I plan on wearing them with fitted tops tucked in. They have a very smart casual vibe. I got these in a size 12 as they are slightly higher waisted than styles I usually go for and because I have a short middle I found that going up a size meant they fit slightly better. They are also a great length for me which makes a nice change being a shorter gal. Such great value for the price!

This grey marl knitted dress is a great length on me too. I did pick this up in an XS as it does come up quite oversized. I really struggled this year to find knitted maxi dresses that weren't bodycon or super expensive so I had to snap this one up. It's a shame they only have one shade, but hey ho. The material is a lovely soft knit, but I will have to wear long sleeves under it as it will be a bit itchy on my skin. I'm a sensitive girl don't you know ;) This will be great to add belts to and layer over leggings, shirts etc .....

If any of you have spotted bargain knitted maxi dresses that you think I might like please let me know in the comments below.

DRESSES & JEANS - EVERYTHING 5 POUNDS HAUL

Hi my loves. I have been shopping online a lot recently finding some real bargain gems. Here are my latest finds from EVERYTHING 5 POUNDS.

This dress is a great transitional season piece as it can be worn as above or with long cardigans come A/W season. I picked this up in the shades black and beige. There are only one left of each shade so hurry. It's one size, but stretchy so should fit sizes 8-12. I am 5ft 2 and with some not too high footwear this will be the perfect length on me.

I actually got these in a dark grey. I wanted black too, but it sold out in my size as I was paying. I got them in sizes 10 and 12 thinking I could wear one in a slightly looser boyfriend style with some DIY rips on those, but they weren't loose enough for that. These do fit really well and are very comfortable. Really true to size.

Share your bargains from Everything 5 Pounds in the comments below.

EVERYTHING 5 POUNDS MASSIVE SUMMER HAUL

Hello lovelies. I am back with another bargainous haul as promised, but things are selling out fast so check out my Everything 5 Pounds summer picks below.

Two prints of the same style got deleted somehow from my computer, but I will link them here:

One was missing from my order too which will be sent on to me hopefully:

I really struggle with picking up maxi dresses as I am just about 5ft 3 inches tall. I chose these designs as they are the perfect length for me even in flats. Do check out the lengths in this style of maxi though when browsing as some are longer than the ones I have chosen and some measure from shoulder to hem or centre of back to hem. Each of these maxi dresses have light padding which I would actually prefer not to have as they don't fill the whole cup and are not removable. The straps are adjustable though.

This dress is just gorgeous. It swings a little as you move which makes it all the more girly. The crochet insert doesn't really show off much flesh at all if that's something that would worry you. These straps are adjustable. I am so glad I picked these up.

These are obviously great for the beach or poolside, but I just wanted them as lightweight cardigan alternatives for the summer. They look great tied up or left open.

These joggers are great for that smart casual summer option to wear with heels or summer sandals. Because they have the cuffed bottoms they will look great with both.

So that's it for my superb Everything 5 Pounds haul. I hope you find something you like here lovelies and happy shopping!

OUTFIT & COMPETITION: LAS VEGAS GLAMOUR WITH QUIZ CLOTHING

Hi sweeties. I hope your week has been good and that your weekend will be even better. You have probably noticed the Quiz Clothing banner ad on my blog for the chance to win a trip for 2 to Vegas including return flights, limo ride transfers, 5 nights at a 5* hotel, 5 dresses for the winner and tickets to see Britney Spears.

Feeling inspired by this fabulous prize I have created an 'Outfit Of The Night' post with two dress options. All pieces are from Quiz Clothing as they have some great items online.

If you can't do glamour when you are in Vegas when can you do it. This full length dress is elegantly stunning with a split to the front revealing just enough leg as you move.

For a less dramatic, but still sleek and sophisticated style this dress with it's diamond/harlequin print feature wouldn't look out of place in a casino. The print gives a very slimming effect too.

All accessories I have chosen I think would work well with both dresses so you are good for 2 nights :)

I did think about choosing something more glitzy for the feet, but I think the accessories I have chosen more than make up for that.

Well a girl has to put her winnings somewhere ;)

I don't usually go for matching jewellery, but for this sort of evening out I think it's almost a necessity. The square diamond style reminds me of the playing cards too.

So for your chance to win this fabulous prize click on the Quiz Clothing Vegas banner ad near the top of my blog and ensure to enter your email address.

Good luck to all who enter!

GODDIVA Celebrity Inspired Party Dresses

Hi lovelies I have another post for you today with a focus on party dresses from Goddiva. With December being the month of countless invitations to parties and events the first thing on most girls minds is 'but what am I going to wear?' Well don't worry because help is at hand. I have chosen my favourite celebrity inspired dresses and I hope you like them too :)

Mid Length

This bondage style dress still remains classy revealing only the shoulders. This a beautiful piece that I actually prefer to Kim's. The neckline detailing draws you upwards towards the smile you will have on your face with the confidence this dress gives. The symmetrical lines have turned this dress into architecture.

This style is definitely a siren dress for the confident sex kitten. I love this rich wine shade. Perfect for this time of year. If you have a cleavage to rival Kim's than this dress will ensure that you are noticed. I would add strappy heels, a mini sparkly pouch bag and a fake fur stole to this look all in black. Then all you have to do is purrrrrr!

This simple classic wrap dress with it's angled neckline and sexy leg reveal is a perfect chic style with fabric to smooth over and accentuate the female form. This dress would work well with pretty much any figure. The draped ruching effect will aid in disguising any body concerns. I would accessorise this dress with court shoes and a simple clutch in gold and for extra va-va voom I would add a bold red lip.

Floor Length

Again I actually prefer this style to Kim's. I think the squared off bust line doesn't detract you from the cascading material falling around the shoulder. To accentuate the shoulder even more I would add a silver diamante broach such as a snowflake and a simple silver diamante bracelet to the other arm. A silver satin clutch and silver strappy heels that reveal perfectly polished toes as you walk would complete the look.

I dare any woman to try and not look sexy in this dress. Impossible! The mesh inserts add to the glamour puss styling. Long sparkly earrings, sparkly nails, deep red matte lips and a beauty mole are all that's needed for a movie star entrance. No need for a jacket, just wear the guys that's just handed you his number ;)

So that's my picks for party season from Goddiva. Be sure to check out these and more celebrity inspired Christmas and New Year party dresses on their website.

Let me know if you like any of my picks or others from the Goddiva website in the comments below.

Wish List: Missguided Sweet Deal Fresh Fashion Basics

Hi there poppets. It's good to know you are here on this gloomy wet day which I hope to make brighter for you :)

For those of you that don't already know Missguided have brought out a sweet deal range of some basic pieces that you could mix and match. You could also wear just one piece and change the way it looks by accessorising or adding some print or texture. I personally love some of the tartan and leather pieces that many brands are bringing out at the moment. Grunge never seems to be out of fashion.

Here is a link to the entire range with prices starting at £2.99. To see my wish list pieces keep on reading :)

Bodysuits

I think this would be great to wear with maxi skirts and sandals for a daytime look or for the office this would be perfect with a trouser/short suit and heels.

This is a great piece to wear with jeans for an easy throw on look. Perfect to wear in a bar with hooped earrings and ankle boots.

Dresses

I of course love this in black too. This is a fantastic first date dress. Just the right amount on show with that flirty, girly feel. I love the boots the girl is wearing in the photo. I would add a long chain and a biker jacket to wear with this dress.

I don't have the longest pins so dresses like this are great for us shorter girls as they add a peep of sexiness without showing off the legs completely. The fact that the top of the dress is not revealing at all I think adds to this feature. The belt and boots are great accessories in this photo. A deep red lip is all that I would add to this look.

This is a brilliant dress for when you just can't be bothered to decide what to wear. A beanie, a satchel and some lace up ankle boots would complete the look for me. The colour is great for the autumn/winter season too.

This is the same style of dress shown in another shade range. The colour is just bam! Because the colour is so bold you don't actually need to go mad with accessories. I could see this work with a black waistcoat undone, black pumps and some friendship bracelets.

Skirts

I have seen this style of skirt around, but this is the cheapest price I have seen it for. This is quite a versatile piece as you could wear it more to the side or the front of the thigh to vary the look. Like the maxi dress with the splits above it is sexy not trashy.

This has a cute school/college girl vibe about it. I like how they have paired it with a cropped t-shirt. I have loads of those already from Primark. I would wear an open slouchy cardi and tough ankle boots with this. Also some large hoops earrings and bold lipstick. I would also like this in black, but for some reason the link to the black pleated skater skirt is a regular skater skirt?

Jackets

This is a great piece to pair with so many outfits. Lunch with the girls or a dinner date would suit. It would look great with jeans, a white t-shirt, strappy sandals and a statement necklace. Black would be my first choice as it goes with everything, but the plum shade is pretty fab too. Perfect for transitioning into the autumn/winter seasons.

I know black again, but again it goes with so much. I would however buy the other shades of white and navy too. These are perfect for work and then whatever afterwards. A long chain necklace would amp this up instantly.

I really like cut out detailing at the moment. It adds a feature and is sexy on the shoulders while keeping you modest. This red shade is gorgeous. I think leather skinnies would look even better with this top so that the shoulders are the reveal.

I also like the black in this style obviously :)

Missguided also have 10% off all orders at the moment too!

Have you taken part in Missguided's sweet deals yet? If yes, what did you think? If no, will you be? Let me know with your picks and link any outfit blog posts featuring your sweet deals in the comments below.

Chalayan @ Avenue 32

Hi there beauties and happy Friday! Have you got an amazing weekend planned? I don't have anything going on just yet, but I am realising that my week off is coming to an end :(

Today I want to talk to you about the website Avenue 32. The site describes itself as ‘your online luxury shopping neighbourhood’ and I can see why. There are pieces from established brands and very talented emerging designers. Each designer has curated their own individual boutique space allowing you to step into their world, giving you an exclusive peek into their creative process through video and images. For those of you who love high fashion, shoes and accessories you really should check out Avenue 32.

There a couple of pieces I want to focus on in this post from the designer Chalayan

Day Look

This Oxblood Cup Sleeve Jumper Dress is a fantastic item that can be worn as simply as shown here or styled up with accessories. I would wear this with vintage worker boots (laces undone) and a bowler hat. A low slouch, textured leather bag would add to the relaxed feel of this look. Hair and make-up should be kept natural to keep the rich colour of this oxblood piece the focus.

Evening/Event Look

This Pink Nothing Maxi Dress is exquisite. The structure, clean lines and panelling create a perfect cocoon for the body. The silhouette that this piece performs is outstanding. I would be almost afraid to ruin this dress by adding too many details as it's simplicity and bold shade are enough to make your presence known. With this piece I would wear winged black glossy eyeliner and a glossy lip. Hair would be worn tall with gold drop earrings. Gold strappy sandals and a mini diamante clutch would complete this look.

Chalayan uses both sculpting and draping to flatter the female form. Some designers I feel can take this route of structural designing a little too far and I believe lose the woman in the masculine tailoring, but Chalayan accentuates with this direction of creative design.

What are you favourite pieces from Chalayan or other pieces at Avenue 32? Let me know in the comments below.

OOTD: FD. Avenue Racer Back Jersey Maxi Dress In Red

Hi there lovelies. It seems that a lot of you have been out there having fun this weekend due to the gorgeous weather and I hope today that your good times continue today. I have been having a little fun this morning in my garden taking photos of myself for this OOTD post. I was approached by FD. Avenue and asked to choose an item from their fashion website that I would like to review. I chose the FD. Avenue Racer Back Jersey Maxi Dress In Red.

As you can see I got into the cowgirl theme of this look :)

This gorgeous red dress is a bold yet easy to style piece. I usually have real trouble with wearing maxi dresses as I am between 5ft 2-3. This dress however I am able to wear flats with. The material is 95% viscose and 5% elastane and the length is approx 149cm. I am wearing a size s/m. It is machine washable too.

I like the scoop neck as it comes just low enough shaping nicely around my bust line without showing off my bra. The racer-back is a nice detail for the summer. I wore white underwear under this dress and it did not show through so the material is thick enough not to look or feel cheap, but the dress itself is still lightweight for hot summer days and nights.

This would be perfect for taking you from day to night actually. Flats or wedges would go great with this style and some gold jewellery would make the colour of the dress pop even more. Especially if worn with a tan unlike me :(

This has an elasticated waist which comes up near the bottom of my ribs. I think it's a flattering style that could be worn in many ways for instance with a cardi and flip flops or a kimono and espadrilles.

This dress also comes in shades of Cerise, Navy & Purple. You can purchase this item from FD. Avenue for £24.99 here.

They have some really cool fashion items on their website and with a sale of up to 50% off at the moment I would advise you check them out!

Thank you FD. Avenue for sending this to me for free to review. I will enjoy wearing it this summer :)

Other items in this OOTD are:

Hat ~ Accessorize

Hand/Wrist Jewellery ~ Primark

Jacket ~ H&M

Boots ~ Zara

Have you made any purchases from FD. Avenue? If yes, which items did you purchase? If no, are there any items on their website you have your eye on? Let me know in the comments below.
