MINK & STONE DARK BEAUTY BRACELET - MY DESIGN

Hey wonderful people. How are you all? I am very excited to share with you a piece of jewellery I was given the opportunity to design.

I met the lovely Miisa from MINK & STONE at #BLFW. Miisa showed me just how easy it is to create a piece of jewellery on the Mink & Stone website. There are a choice of 7 necklace styles in varying lengths or a bracelet if that's your preference with either silver or gold metal.

You can make up a personalised tray of goodies to play with and have fun creating your own design. There are easy search options under colour, use, material, collection or size group.

Each bead is priced so if you have a budget it makes it a bit easier to select choices within that frame. I had been gifted with £15 credit. My bracelet came to just a little over that and I think was totally worth it.

As you can see you can name your piece adding a short description of the inspiration behind it. Mine is featured on the inspiration page which you are given the option to do if you wish. It can then be shared on various social media. The more people that 'like' your design the higher up the inspiration page it will sit. It's a great idea as others can not only view the materials used and be inspired by your design, but they also have the option to purchase your piece. If they do you can then earn credit to put towards future designs.

Your design will be custom made and shipped to you within 2 weeks. There was a delay in receiving my bracelet as the black crystal hearts proved to be very popular so mine came in less then 3 weeks.

As you can see my design only uses 4 bead styles, yet I think looks beautiful (pats self on back). It was very satisfying hearing the clink of the beads tap together as they slid down the chain landing next to each other. Seeing my design develop before my eyes was very exciting and addictive.

So why not get creative and have fun designing a piece for yourself or even as a gift. It can be sent to the recipients address with a note saying "designed for you".

Let me know if you design any pieces in the comments below so that others can view them too.

#BLFW JEWELLERY

Hey there beauties. You may or may not remember me attending BLOGGERS LOVE FASHION WEEK DAY 1. I met lots of great brands and was so kindly gifted with lots of exciting things including items from these brands who you can learn more about in the link above.

This diamante and gold vintage inspired necklace is the perfect way to add interest to an outfit. It would look great with an open neck, something off the shoulder or strapless. Likewise it's ideal to wear under the collar of a shirt.

This beautiful colour petal layer ring is so different from other jewellery I have seen. This is a real statement piece perfect for the spring/summer season with it's handmade floral diamante design. Sabreena is very talented at creating so many wonderful pieces available at Norenzo. If you love floral accessories that I believe have a very modern take on traditional vintage items check out her line now.

These handmade triangle studs will never date with their geometric design. Great for everyday wear as a simple statement. The Aztec and tribal trends seem to always pop up at this time of year so they will fit in perfectly with those too.

I love this peace and love style beaded bracelet. It's quite neutral in tone with just a pop of green so great for mixing and matching with various outfits. Joe Browns are anything but a boring brand. They have such a variety of clothing and accessory pieces for men and women. Once you start looking through their site you will be on there a while.

I also have another piece of jewellery from a brand that I met that night, but I designed it myself so expect that post soon.

Let me know which of these brands excites you and any favourite pieces in the comments below.

BUCKLEY LONDON SPARKLE MESH BRACLETS

Hi there lovelies. It's been one of those non-stop weeks, but I am here now to share with you my first blog post of the day.

A few days ago I was kindly sent this set of 3 BUCKLEY LONDON SPARKLE MESH BRACELETS.

I absolutely adore them. I love that they can be worn separately or stacked up as shown above. Plus they also make great gifts. With Mother's Day coming up that may be something to keep in mind!

They are very wearable for day or night decorated with subtle crystal detail. This range includes hearts and kisses designs (kisses not shown above) in a variety of metal shades including gold, black rhodium, rose gold (not shown above) or rhodium tone.

Each purchase of these bracelets includes 3 designs chosen for you at random.

I will really enjoy wearing these beautifully designed bracelets. I love wearing clashing metals tones together. These will look great in the spring/summer season catching the sunlight.

I would have quite liked to have tried a rose gold option, but I am not disappointed as I think these designs are suitable for everyone and totally gorgeous.

I think this pack is super affordable at £24.99. If you have a couple of presents you need to buy and you are on a budget then why not purchase this pack and perhaps keep one style for yourself? Each bracelet works out at a little over £8. A total bargain!

Check out these bracelets here!

Let me know which design is your favourite in the comments below. Also are packs of jewellery like this something you would purchase for yourself or as a gift?

GLOWBEADS ROYAL BLUE GLOW BRACELET

Hi sweeties and welcome back today. I have a fabulous piece of jewellery to share with you that is different from any other.

In November I met with the jewellery brand GLOWBEADS at the BLOGGERS LOVE HUB DAY 1. I was kindly gifted with a bracelet that I am sure you will love.

WITH FLASH

WITHOUT FLASH

These gorgeous glow bracelets glow as the light catches them day or night. There is a vast range of shades including mixed coloured bracelets that come in different bead sizes.

I love how it's like wearing a suprise to anyone who notices your glowing piece. Like your own little aura.

It's so wearable for all ages and fun too. I believe that the glow is captured in the same way the cats eyes you see on the road work. Clever stuff!

Check out this link and tell me your faves in the comments below.

BLOODY MARY METAL WINTERSPELL COLLECTION

Hey gorgeous readers and welcome back or hello if this is your first time here.

I have an exciting Cornwall-based jewellery brand to share with you today. Lucy Wilson is creator, director, jeweller and designer of the fantastic Bloody Mary Metal jewellery brand. Since launching in 2012 BMM has become popular with fashion giants ASOS , MOTELOH MY LOVE LONDON, celebrities, stylists and magazines including British Vogue

Previous BMM collections

Heavy Metal: A hard edged collection with a London-built attitude based heavily on the sounds of heavy metal and rock 'n' roll. This really put BMM on the fashion map.

Arcane Love: Reflecting Lucy's change in lifestyle on returning to her Cornish roots. An enchanting collection of secret symbols, historical signs and alchemy.

Dream Weavers and Sinners and Sailors: Based around Cornwall's roots these collections embody the tales of sailors lost at sea while dream catchers hung above the beds of the women they left behind.

Luna Tribe: A more mature and intensely striking collection inspired by Cornish history, tarot and the treasures sought by pirates of the Cornish coast.

I had an invite only pass to view the BMM Winterspell Collection at the Abandon Ship Apparel Store in Soho on Thursday evening. It was the perfect setting.

An amazingly mystical and spiritual collection with winter accents reflected in the antlers and arrow snowflake.

I love the decor. Later on the lights were switched off as candles and fairy lights captured the essence of the night.

BMM decorated cupcakes were munched away along with macaroons and some awesome chocolate. All soothed back with bubbly or cloudy lemonade.

Prior to the event I was asked to measure my ring size. Waiting for all attendees on a Xmas tree were our own baubles with a personalised ring inside. Mine was engraved with my initial 'V' and a heart. I love it! To create your own personalised ring which can be stacked check out this link! It would make a great Xmas pressie.

There is a GIFT WRAP & CHRISTMAS CARD option too as well as a BMM GUIDE TO CHOOSING THAT RING! I have been given one of these which I might just pop in someones work bag with my ring size written on in time for Xmas ;)

There is a RING RE-SIZE SERVICE if you don't want to spoil the surprise. If however you are treating yourself a RING SIZER is available to ensure all purchases fit well.

We were all given our own personalised LARGE, HEAVY DUTY 12OZ TOTE BAG too. Mine included the SNOWFLAKE RING, a cracker with 3 SINGLE CHARM THREADBARES, 2 packs of BMM X DIY NAILS DECALS one being the WINTER NAIL DECALS, BMM stickers, a personalised notebook with pen and an ABANDON SHIP F U BUDDY BEANIE HAT. Mine is burgundy, but I could only find the black online.

I have also been given a 15% off BMM GIFT VOUCHER which I can share with you lovelies to use throughout Dec 2014. Use code VICKY15 when making your purchase!

So will you be joining #teambmm #bloodymarymetal #bmmcollection

STRADIVARIUS WISH LIST

Hi sweeties. Today I have a wish list post for you with pieces from the fabulous brand Stradivarius who are opening their first UK store in London's Westfield Stratford later this summer.

These wedges are to die for. In summer I always struggle to find suitable footwear as I have a dodgy looking big toenail on my left foot which makes me self conscious of wearing open toe shoes. These beauties would go with so many outfits letting my feet get some summer air and making me taller :)

This simple piece can be left plain and cool as above or accessorised with a belt, necklace or collar tips. I love the preppy style of the buttons done up like this.

How cool is this dress? The fabric looks so light. Great for day or night. This versatile item could be worn in so many ways by simply changing the belt or layering over trousers/leggings.

To get in the mood for summer the Hawaiian inspired bracelet (right) is just beautiful. The name tag bracelets (left and centre) are simple enough to just wear with pretty much anything and great to hang charms off too to make them more interesting and varied. I probably wouldn't wear these all together, but they are such a great set for the price.

Let me know your favourite pieces from Stradivarius in the comments below.

OUTFIT & COMPETITION: LAS VEGAS GLAMOUR WITH QUIZ CLOTHING

Hi sweeties. I hope your week has been good and that your weekend will be even better. You have probably noticed the Quiz Clothing banner ad on my blog for the chance to win a trip for 2 to Vegas including return flights, limo ride transfers, 5 nights at a 5* hotel, 5 dresses for the winner and tickets to see Britney Spears.

Feeling inspired by this fabulous prize I have created an 'Outfit Of The Night' post with two dress options. All pieces are from Quiz Clothing as they have some great items online.

If you can't do glamour when you are in Vegas when can you do it. This full length dress is elegantly stunning with a split to the front revealing just enough leg as you move.

For a less dramatic, but still sleek and sophisticated style this dress with it's diamond/harlequin print feature wouldn't look out of place in a casino. The print gives a very slimming effect too.

All accessories I have chosen I think would work well with both dresses so you are good for 2 nights :)

I did think about choosing something more glitzy for the feet, but I think the accessories I have chosen more than make up for that.

Well a girl has to put her winnings somewhere ;)

I don't usually go for matching jewellery, but for this sort of evening out I think it's almost a necessity. The square diamond style reminds me of the playing cards too.

So for your chance to win this fabulous prize click on the Quiz Clothing Vegas banner ad near the top of my blog and ensure to enter your email address.

Good luck to all who enter!

Primark Accessories & 1 Skirt Haul

Hi everyone and Happy Sunday! I recently returned some items to Primark and of course I came back with some other items :) I thought it only fair that I share them with you so here they are.

Red, Blue, Grey & White Beanies ~ £2.00 Each

These are awesome for winter and to add a pop of colour with the red and blue to any outfit.

Green Mini Skirt ~ £3.00

It's a little big. I bought it in a 12 in the hope it would be a little longer. I think it will work okay with jumpers, tights and ankle boots.

Black Lace Up Wedge Boots ~ £18.00

I know these were already attracting fluff when I bought them, but I am hoping that when I roller over them they won't look so bad. These I can wear with so many outfits.

4 Pack Of Friendship Bracelets ~ 50p

50p is insane for these. That's 12.5p per bracelet. I love the designs. They are really fun.

Silver & Gold 3 Drop Layer Collar Necklaces ~ £4.00 Each

These are simple yet impact neck pieces that will make any plain top or dress look more expensive.

Primark have now upped their game by showing you products that are in store as well as Primania where everyone can show off their Primark outfits. For more info check out this link!

I hope you enjoyed this haul folks. I know I will get my wear out of these items. Which Primark bargains have you picked up lately? Let me know in the comments below.

How I Store My Bangles & Bracelets

Hello poppets. I don't want to start this post on a bad note, but a relative of mine is critically ill in hospital and although I still wan to blog I may not have much time to at the moment so please bare with me.

Today I have a post showing you how I store my bangles and bracelets.

This was a Tatty Bear box that used to have lip glosses inside. It was given to me as a Xmas present, but as the lid is curved I thought it was the perfect shape for storing my bangles and bracelets. From what I remember most of these are from House Of Fraser, Primark, Dorothy Perkins, Flutterbyes, Lemonade/Love Lemonade & Rebecca Louise.

How do you store your bangles and bracelets? Do you have them on show more than I do? Let me know in the comments below.

Rosina Savage Boutique Event

Hey there my loves. How are you doing on this glorious day? I had a lovely time at the Rosina Savage Boutique Event on Wednesday evening so I just had to tell you about it as Nicola from Rosina Savage is the beauty who customises your shoes to make them look like they never have before.

The invitation

The Rosina Savage Boutique logo. Such a powerful image.

DJ Sash Dixon played some cool beats to entertain guests.

Such pretty cupcakes were on display for guests to enjoy. These were made courtesy of Karen's Kitchen. I opted for a glass on fruit punch instead though as I just couldn't bear to ruin how pretty they looked :)

Just one example of the sweet tree creations from Sarah Brown at Heirs and Gracies.

There was also a running chocolate fountain for guests to dip marshmallows into. As well as the opportunity to have your nails painted.

So now on to the fabulous shoes. Show cased were the fashion and wedding collections.

White cut-out platform with a stiletto heel. It's features include an ankle strap with gem and multi-coloured Swarovski Elements on the platform and the heel.

All red platform stilettos with ankle straps. Pom pom detailing at the front and Swarovski Elements detailing on the heels.

Sling backs with silver Swarovski Elements detailing to the entire shoe.

Green court heels with Swarovski Elements detailing on the bows at the front and peacock feathers.

Pink court shoes with inner cut-out detail and ombre Swarovski Elements detail over the entire shoe.

Blue strappy heels with a boot style ankle strap. Other than the strap the whole shoe is decorated with blue and ombre Swarovski Elements.

Two models strutted their stuff in these left: black platform stiletto ankle strap shoes with a pom pom at the front and Swarovski Elements detail on the heel.

On the right the model wears white strappy shoes with a cream buckle ankle strap. There is white fluffy detail on the front strap of the shoes and I believe gold/silver Swarovski Elements detail on the back of the shoe and heel.

Gorgeous for any bride are these white/cream stiletto heels with silver Swarovski Elements detail on the heels, slight platform and the 'Lo ve' lettering on the sole of the shoes. These are accompanied by the Mr & Mrs champagne flutes with matching silver Swarovski Elements for the lettering and the stem of the glasses.

Angled View

Up close and oh so personal. If you haven't already guessed these were my favourite of all the show cased designs. I was mesmerised the moment I spotted this black heel-less platform with black Swarovski Elements all over rotating at the end of the bar. I could just stare at this shoe all day, but I promise to continue writing this post. Nicola told me that this is her favourite shoe too.

And here is the stunning Nicola herself in her amazing orange peplum halterneck pencil dress with black belt and of course her favourite shoe. Rachel was very welcoming and very easy to talk to.

I of course had to show you her chosen shoes for the event. They are black strappy heels with black fluffy ankle boas and black Swarovski Elements detail across the front straps. Perfect to match the band of the belt around her waist.

Guests were also given the opportunity to win their own customised pair of shoes. The winner will be notified on Sunday 7th July of the best shoe design.

Guests were treated to a bag of goodies too.

I popped my rose in a glass as soon as I came home that night and took a photo to show you in case it wilted. Attached is a Swarovski bead bracelet and 10% off my first order.

My green and white Swarovski bead bracelet.

Included in the bag was also this Smooch Mascara. I love the rubberised design of the tube with the lace print. I have never tried products from Smooch before so this will be good to try out the brand.

Also in the bag were these products. Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel, Daily Microfoliant & Total Eye Care with SPF15. I have already reviewed the Daily Microfoliant here and I love it, but I will let you know how I find the other products to work too.

As well as this there is a £10 gift voucher for the Decadence Salon and a disc from DJ Sash Dixon.

I have spoken to Nicola via email since the event and asked a few questions for you about her service:

How many Swarovski Elements does it take to customise a pair of shoes?

Depending on the size shoe and shape all shoes take different amount for example the shoes I was wearing on the evening had just over 1000 Swarovski as only the strap was encrusted but the black shoe on the bar had over 5000 Swarovski elements so as a pair they would be encrusted with over 10,000 elements.

Does the customer send you their shoes before or after the consultation and is there a consultation fee?

There is no consultation fee, I request them to send images of there shoes and description of what they want and then we can discuss in detail via email, telephone, Skype or person what exactly they would like, I will make sure I get their shoes perfect so need as much information as possible on their design.

What is the average time expectancy to receive the customised shoes?

Depending on the turn over and the amount of orders I have at that one time I would roughly give 2-4 weeks.

Are delivery charges to you and to the customer within the service price or are they extra?

The delivery charge will be separate I will give my clients an all round fee of the shoes I will be doing for them and then depending on where they will be sent to I will provide that separate as shipping to all different areas and country differ.

Is there a minimum charge for the service? Does it depend on the style of the shoe?

Yes all my prices start from around £150 depending on style and colour of Swarovski they choose, all elements are priced differently due to sizing and colour.

How much do the service fees vary?

There is no limit on costs my prices are different for every shoe I create, if my client has a particular budget I will do what I can for the price they can afford.

Do the shoes come gift wrapped when returned?

Yes, all shoes get returned complete in a black box with our signature red rose and a personalised letter inside, if my client would like our Rosina Savage Boutique inner soles applied we will also provide that. Once all packed we tie it with a bow and send it on it way to there home :)

What are the most common customisations?

I have a lot of amazing feedback from many people and I don't think anything I do is common due to everything being created to my clients taste, this is what I want everyone to enjoy about Rosina Savage Boutique the designs I create are my clients designs and made just for them so no shoe I create is common anywhere.

Are there any materials you can not use to customise the shoes?

No I can use any material my client request, if there is something in particular they want and haven't used before I will try my hardest to get my hands on it. No order is to small I want my clients to receive their dream shoes and exactly what they want is exactly what they will get :)

Are there any shoe materials that can not be customised like patent material for example?

I can do any material but leather and suede are the easiest to word with due to the texture.

The show case shoes at the event were faux leather and faux suede due to them being sample pieces but the inner sole that was created for the inside are 100% genuine leather.

Without a doubt Nicola has a passion for shoes and it shows in her creations. The bespoke service that Nicola offers means that her clients will be rewarded with shoes they truly desire. They will have been made to fulfill the clients needs and will be I'm sure a personal possession that they will keep forever. I think that they are the perfect gift too for a groom to give to his bride, a parent for their daughter's prom, or even as an anniversary or birthday gift. There are so many reasons and ways that this service from Nicola can be adored by many.

The Rosina Savage Boutique website will be updated very soon, but if you need to contact Nicola via Facebook, Twitter or email you can do so via this link! Examples of the inner soles are on Facebook too. As well as blinged up and spiked flip flops and trainer styles.

Thanks so much to Nicola and Bloggers Love for inviting me to this show case event.

Is this type of service something that appeals to you? Which kind of shoe designs would you like customised for you? Let me know in the comments below.

Love to you all
