PRIMARK HAUL - COSY IN SEPTEMBER

Hey lovelies. I went back to Primark this week and found a few cosy items prefect for the changing season.

CHARCOAL CUFFED LEG JOGGERS - MEDIUM (10/12) - £7

CHARCOAL KNIT TOP - SMALL (6/8) - £7

I love the #LAZY #RELAX #HAPPY slogan on these pieces. That's exactly how I want to feel when putting on lounge wear. I bought a smaller top as it did seem to come up a little large for me. The material is very soft and quite thin so I could wear a vest underneath the top to layer up if I want to. I like this set especially as it's quite understated with it's muted tone. The joggers have pockets too.

BLACK SEQUIN FLIPTOP GLOVES - £2.50

I love this style of glove. As my old pink ones were getting a bit bobbly I thought I would pick up this black sequin pair that will go with everything ready for the onset of winter.

BLACK SUPERSOFT SNOOD - £2

I had one of these previously which again I got my use out of and threw away a few months ago. This is another piece that is easy to pair with many items.

GREY FLORAL BOTTOMS - MEDIUM (10/12) - £6

I think these were £6, but there was no tag on them. These do come up a little large and are quite stretchy, but they will be fine for dossing at home. These too have pockets and cuffed bottoms. Perfect for short ladies like me.

So that's all folks. I will no doubt be going to Primark again soon as there are some other pieces I had my eye on, but couldn't decide if I wanted them at the time.

Let me know which bargains you have found in Primark lately in the comments below.

BONFIRE NIGHT DISCOUNT FASHION AT BOOHOO

Hi lovelies. How are you all doing? I hope you are not stuck out in this awful rain.

With Bonfire Night approaching this Wednesday I thought it would be a good idea to put together my perfect 'Outfit Of The Night' from BOOHOO. They currently have a 15% discount code on everything which ends at midnight so check out my picks below :)

I love the effortless style of this coat. I used to have one like this in blue in my teen/grunge days. It's perfect for everyday and because it's not bright yet still has colour it's a great mix and match piece. The hoodie is great if you are not up for wearing a hat or carrying a brolly and the large pockets mean you don't need a bag.

Picking up from the grey tones in the coat with the same sort of marl effect this is a perfect accompaniment.

These basics will keep you warm throughout the A/W season.

I love the faux fur detail for snuggly warm ankles. No sinking in the mud on bonfire night with these beauties.

Lost your gloves from last year or found that they are a bit bobbly? These bargain £1 gloves are a one size fits all style that will go with any outfit and can be rolled up for easy storage in your pocket or handbag.

I think this will pick up the pink/red tones in the coat well and what a gorgeous scarf for the season.

This does come in a neon yellow shade, but I wanted the scarf to be the accessory that stood out and go with black basics for the hat and gloves.

So that's my Bonfire Night styling.

Let me know your picks for Bonfire Night outfits and the bargains you picked up in the BOOHOO SALE CODE ENJOY with 15% off EVERYTHING UNTIL MIDNIGHT so go, go, go!!

Images not my own.

Cake For Mum's 60th Birthday & Haul

Hiya everyone and Happy Saturday! What are you all up to on this glorious day? I have already popped out quickly this morning, but now I am ready to get stuck into some blogging. Today's post involves cake for my Mum's birthday and a haul.

It was my Mum's 60th birthday on Monday 10th March so myself and my fella decided to go and see her the day before for a take away and cake as he wasn't sure how late he would be back from work on the Monday. I did make this yummy chocolate devil myself on the Sunday. It was actually quite delicious and I had fun decorating it.

I then met up with Mum on her birthday. We had lunch and did some shopping. Mum bought a few things with the money we gave her, but the main item she has yet to choose is a mirror to hang over her living room fireplace.

This Izabel London salt & pepper coat from Dorothy Perkins was in the sale for £30.00. I am not sure of the original price as I can't find it on their website, but I think it was around £50-55.00. I know spring is on it's way, but this is the UK and there are still a few chilly nights and days about.

Primark Scarf ~ £4.00

I love the design and colour of this scarf. It's the sort of thing my Gran used to have on her china. I think the blue will really compliment my eye colour.

Primark Headband ~ £3.00

This headband made me feel hopeful for spring. I think it's so pretty and girly.

So as you can see I didn't go crazy overspending, but I am happy with my bargains. What little must haves have you picked up lately? Let me know in the comments below.

Birthday Presents & Thank You

Hi all and Happy Friday! It has been just over a couple of weeks since my birthday. On the day I spent some time with my Mum catching up on gossip and having lunch. Then I had a few hours chilling on my own painting my nails, drinking tea and watching YouTube videos. In the evening my boyfriend and I enjoyed a takeaway and we watched a film. He had bought me a cake, but we were so stuffed that we had some the next day. Sometimes the simple things are what please me :) He had already bought me my camera as my Xmas/Birthday present so putting my feet up and no cooking was all I needed from him.

I did however receive gifts from family and friends so for those of you interested here are the lovely things I got.

A variety of cute, funny, rude and heartwarming cards.

Obviously you can never go wrong with me and beauty.

I love taking notes. It's a bit of an obsession for me as I like to be organised. This snuggly circle scarf with cute pom poms will keep me warm.

This cute mug and coaster will brighten any dreary day. Plus this bed warmer will keep me toasty at night.

I also received 3 bunches of beautiful flowers, 2 boxes of chocolates which I shared with my fella, vouchers and money. I am going to buy a camera case asap as I have a few events in February to attend which I will let you know more about soon.

As with any gift I am so grateful to my fella, friends and family.

Please let me know if you see any bargains that you think I might like in the comments below. Fashion, beauty or lifestyle wise.

Love to you all
