DIESEL LOVERDOSE PERFUME

Hello peeps. I have loved wearing this fragrance that I asked for at Xmas 2014 so here are my thoughts on it.

DIESEL LOVERDOSE EAU DE PARFUM

I love how well this lingers throughout the day. It will definitely get you noticed by passers by as it's quite sexy. I enjoyed applying it as it gave me that inner confidence. With top notes of mandarin and star anise, heart notes of liquorice and vanilla and base notes of dry woods it forms an addictive scent. The bottle is a gorgeous geometric heart that lays flat like a purple gemstone.

BRONNLEY ZEALOUS FLOWER FRAGRANCE

Hey sweeties. I have been lucky enough to sample this great fragrance from BRONNLEY a brand which is very new to me.

ZEALOUS FLOWER EAU DE TOILETTE

Floral scents can be a little hit and miss for me. I am usually attracted to scents with a little attitude that are quite deep and noticeable. This fragrance is the first I would ever describe as edgy and mesmerising.

Fragrance Notes

Zealous Flower features notes of Pear, Mandarin, Bergamot, Rose, Jasmine, Pink Pepper, Labdanum, Amber, Vetiver.

This mixture is divine and screams sophistication with a punch. The perfect scent to give you an inner confidence.

The packaging adds class and needs to be on view for all to see it's sleek design.

I am so attracted to the Bronnley fragrance collection when exploring online. I have also discovered that they have bath, body and hand care products too. I have to say goodbye for now as I need to drool some more over their products!

FLO ACCESSORIES "DROP" PERFUME NECKLACE

Hi lovelies. I hope you have all been well. Recently I was given the opportunity to try out a product from FLO ACCESSORIES. This jewellery and accessory brand have a variety of interesting products within their collection including atomisers, LED purse mirrors, make-up bags and organisers, nail care and other items perfect for those who want compact accessories for travel or just to keep every day in their handbag.

"DROP" PERFUME NECKLACE

This 18 inch stainless steel necklace is a beautiful design that would go with pretty much any outfit. It is not however just a gorgeous piece of jewellery. The capsules shown in the packet above are what you spray with your chosen perfume. Then pop it into the pendant and wear it around your neck without the need to spray your body and/or clothes.

I love the necklace and the idea behind it, but I will be honest and say that even with my strongly scented perfume I found that it was not noticeable to me that I was wearing any. I even sprayed the capsule again and asked my boyfriend if he could smell perfume on me. He said he could barely smell any and that was only when I showed him the pendant and explained how it worked.

I think it's a great concept, but for me I get a better effect by spraying perfume on myself.

There is still a great selection of other pendants and accessories on the FLO ACCESSORIES site so I think they are worth checking out.

L'ERBOLARIO NARCISO SUBLIME FRAGRANCE

Hi loves and Happy Thursday! I have been off this week, but pretty busy so it's just flying by. What are you all up to this week?

I have been sent a fragrance to review for you from the brand L'ERBOLARIO. They are an Italian plant based beauty brand who have released the fresh floral and dark green fragrance range Narciso Sublime. Narcissus flowers bloom before all other flowers letting us know spring has arrived.

NARCISO SUBLIME FRAGRANCE

'A soft, yet intense note of the Narcissus flower. A strong and highly feminine fragrance.'

'A poem of flavours, which communicates with the sweetly feminine soul.'

This is highly scented, but is soft with it's obviously floral and vintage fragrance. I say vintage as it has that powdery, soapy essence to it. I would definitely describe it as a spring fragrance. I can smell a little of the peach, but the floral heart notes are what really stand out.

I was previously sent some samples to introduce me to this brand, but unfortunately the scent of them is not really my sort of thing. I enjoy many types of fragrance such as fresh, fruity, sweet and woody types so when I saw that they have a new range I thought I would try this perfume in case it was really very different.

Even though this product is not my cup of tea I know that my Mum would love it and so I will be passing it on to her.

I would not say that I am put off by other products from this brand entirely because the products I have tried so far have just not suited my taste fragrance wise. They have such a vast range which you can check out in their catalogue here or perhaps pop in store to check out their products in person.

BODY CARE PRODUCTS

Hi lovelies. How has your week been? I had work as usual, enjoyed pancakes on Tuesday, went to London on Friday which included a bit of Primark shopping (haul to come) and other chores which I won't bore you with.

I have a few body care products to share mini reviews of with you so here they are :)

These shower products were Xmas gifts as were the razors. I know you can get the shower products in the 99p Store.

Cussons Pure Creamy Shower Cream

This was a lovely cream shower product with a very softening feel and the clean scent of Aloe Vera. It really left a calming and pure scent on the skin.

Cussons Pure Zesty Lemon Burst Shower Gel

This was a nice fruity blend that I enjoyed using, but I didn't notice the scent linger on the skin after showering.

BIC PURE3 LADY DISPOSABLE TRIPLE BLADE X 4

I forgot to keep the razors, but you can see them in the link above. For disposable razors these were actually not bad quality. The handles were sturdy and curved making them quite easy to use for a smooth shave. They are at a reduced price in the link above.

IMPULSE ROCK & LOVE BODY FRAGRANCE

I have said it before and I will say it again I love Impulse body fragrances. They are great value as they last ages. They come in a massive variety of great scents and mist the perfect amount of product. The twist lock cap and their size are just ace if you wanted to pop them in your handbag too. This one is scented with Amber & Orange Blossom. It's really fresh and fruity. It is signed by the Loveable Rogues and was sent to me by the Impulse team. This is also reduced in the link above.

FRENCH CONNECTION CONNECT HER EAU DE TOILETTE

Hi once again loves. I have a mini review of an eau de toilette that I have finally used up and thoroughly enjoyed. It was a Xmas gift a couple of years ago that I have been using at work.

FRENCH CONNECTION CONNECT HER EAU DE TOILETTE

This scent I would say is woody and a little masculine, but with added powdery floral hints for feminine flair. It contains rose which is unusual for me to enjoy so it must be pretty great. It's quite sexy and although it lingers I would not say it's the heaviest fragrance I have worn. 

This capsule style bottle is transparent in the red section so that you can see how much product is left. The button to dispense the fragrance is at the top on the back. I found that holding the bottle with one hand and pressing down on the button with my other thumb was the easiest way to use it as the button takes bit of pressure to work.

POP ART GLOSSYBOX

Hi everyone. I received my Pop Art GlossyBox the other day and have not yet properly checked out the products so here are my first impressions :)

To start with I have to talk about the box itself. I love the bold pop art design. It will make a fab storage piece in my make-up collection. So now for the products:

CIATE PAINT POT - TALENT SCOUT

There are 88 paint pots within the Ciate collection. It is recommended to apply two coats of this product. I love the long handle and pretty bow design of these bottles. This is a gorgeous purple shade that I am sure I will enjoy.

NUXE CREME FRAICHE DE BEAUTE MASK

A 24hr moisturising mask to hydrate and soothe the skin. Instantly the product works to reduce discomfort or redness. Skin is left with a radiant and relaxed appearance. Suitable for all skin types.

Apply once or twice a week to the face and eye area for 10 mins. Massage the excess into the skin thereafter. Can be kept in the fridge for a refreshing effect.

Let's hope that this is as moisturising as it promises. With winter coming it could possibly be a saviour for parched skin like mine.

RIMMEL MATTE BB CREAM - LIGHT

A 9-in-1 skin perfecting make-up product with a natural formula for a flawless matte look.

Apply in circular motions with fingers or a foundation brush.

I am sure I have tried a sample of this from a magazine, but I can't remember which shade. I know I didn't dislike the product, but I can't remember exact details so I will try out this mini shade and let you know my thoughts.

YVES ROCHER QUELQUES NOTES D'AMOUR

Encapsulating the feeling of falling in love.

Apply to the wrists and neck.

I like the simplistic bottle design. It's not too overdone and more of a classic. The scent is a little old school for me. It has rose which I am not a massive fan of. It just makes me feel older than I am.

SO SUSAN FLUTTER MASCARA

A carbon-black mascara with hyaluronic spheres to achieve the darkest, curviest lashes possible.

Apply two coats sweeping upwards.

My mascara did have a seal, but there were a few black marks on it as well as a small chip. I am not sure if the black marks were from the print on the tube or another mascara? I do like the gold packaging and the cute bird design. A key point on a flutter mascara, although I think more of butterflies fluttering by. When I try this out I will review it for you.

ETRE BELLE LIPLIFT PEEL

A moisturising exfoliator to replenish and define the lips. Removing dead skin cells for perfectly soft lips.

Massage in circular motions for 1 minute. Remove with a damp cotton pad.

Only recently have I noticed a big change in the condition of my lips as they are extra dry and peeling. This has come at the right time so fingers crossed this works.

I think this month it's a good box. I am not a fan of the perfume as already stated and I do own similar nail shades to this one, but I can't fault GlossyBox for that.

As a side note I do miss the information card in the box. For product information you are now asked to view the GlossyBox website. A card for a sneak peek into next month's box and a competition has been included instead. Perhaps product information could be printed on the inside of the box?

BURT'S BEES DEEP PORE SCRUB & IMPULSE BODY FRAGRANCE

Hi sweeties. I have two product reviews rolled into one post here so I hope you enjoy :)

BURT'S BEES PEACH & WILLOWBARK DEEP PORE SCRUB

My Mum gave me this sample and I finally got around to using it. The aim of this product is to exfoliate, polish and smooth out the complexion, while also removing dirt and oil for a clean feeling.

In the shower I massaged this into my wet face twice a week. Now I have to say that had this not been given to me I wouldn't have picked it up. I am not a fan of the Burt's Bees products I have tried so far because of the scent. This product was no exception, but I will say it did work. The scent I only noticed on application so I persevered and I was pleasantly surprised. My skin felt so clean and renewed. Definitely smooth and polished. This is currently at a reduced price on the Feelunique website linked above.

IMPULSE SWEET SMILE PEAR & JASMINE BODY FRAGRANCE

I think I picked this up in the 99p Store. I am such a fan of Impulse body fragrances as they are compact, but last for ages. There is such a wide selection of scents for every mood. The click and twist lid is perfect for travel and they are so affordable. This scent is amazing and I would certainly buy it again. It's fruity, soft, floral and woody all at the same time. A perfectly uplifting and calming scent that makes me feel balanced, clean and fresh. This is currently 98p from Superdrug linked above.

GLOSSYBOX BIRTHDAY ANNIVERSARY EDITION

Hey lovelies. I have been subscribed to GlossyBox for the past 3 years and thoroughly enjoyed receiving a present in the post to myself every month. So here is my first impression of this month's products.

KRYOLAN FOR GLOSSYBOX ILLUSION HIGHLIGHTER CASHMERE

This has a lightweight cream formula with a gloss finish for a beautiful velvety shine. It can be applied to the cheekbones, browbones, lips, cupids bow or other parts of the skin.

This is a yellow based champagne highlight which I think will be a great staple in my make-up bag. The lid is usually white with the Kryolan logo. This product also comes in 6 other shades.

FIGS & ROUGE ROSE BERRY SHEA BUTTER MINI HAND CREAM

A softening, nourishing and pampering hand cream.

This has such a pretty design of packaging. I don't want to break the seal on this yet as I have other hand creams open, but I can tell you that it also comes in scents of Mango & Mandarin as well as Vanilla Pistachio.

YVES ROCHER PINK NAIL POLISH ROSE

This is a very neutral pink shade wearable for every day with any outfit at any time of year.

PHILIP KINGSLEY ELASTICIZER

A product to smooth out the hair leaving it supple with added sunscreen protection. Super moisturising for a silky finish adding strength and shine making hair more manageable and lustrous. A weekly thirst quencher to beat dryness. To be used before shampoo. Suitable for all hair textures.

I have previously reviewed this product. Check out that post HERE! I already received this product in my November 2011 GlossyBox and although I do love it GlossyBox is for discovering new products and not having them repeated.

LALIQUE EMANUEL UNGARO LAMOUR EAU DE PARFUM

This floral, musky, soft, sensual fragrance is described as capturing the essence of love.

Top note: Bergamot, Rosebud, Neroli.

Heart note: Tuberose, gardenia, jasmin petals

Dry down note: Warm cedar, sandalwood, musks

It is definitely a soft scent perhaps more for daytime. It's very subtle and I think would suit all ages.

COMFORT ZONE ESSENTIALS CLEANSING MILK

A revitalising, hydrating, gentle milk cream to help remove make-up and dirt for radiant, refreshed and softer skin. Apply to dry skin am and pm and gently massage. Rinse well and remove with a cotton pad.

I am currently using another cleanser, but I will try this one out and review it for you.

SKINCARE, TANNING & FRAGRANCE

Hi lovelies it's good to know you are here. I have 4 product mini reviews for you all for your body.

MITCHELL AND PEACH BODY CREAM

I received this product in my March Beauty Blossom GlossyBox where you can find full product information. This was not a heavy cream and did absorb into the skin easily. The scent I like, but don't love.

OUTDOOR GIRL SUMMER LEGS TAN IN A CAN LIGHT/MEDIUM

I think I picked this up in a 99p Store in the hope that I might be lucky to find a product similar to the Sally Hansen airbrush legs product that so many people like, but I have not tried. As expected however I didn't like the look of the shade. I tested a patch on my leg and it looked like a yellowy orange tone. At least it wasn't expensive though. This does however come in a shade of medium/deep so perhaps that's a better tone for those with a darker complexion.

IMPULSE SECRET SMILE BODY SPRAY

This was another Impulse body spray that I loved. I picked this up in the 99p Store, but it's currently reduced to 98p at Superdrug in the link above. It's a soft floral scent with an uplifting fruitiness of green apple and raspberry.

IMPULSE VANILLA KISSES BODY SPRAY

I was very kindly sent 2 of these cans by Impulse to try and I am still using it. Sometimes I find vanilla scented products a bit too sweet for my taste. This is a little too sweet when I first spray it. Think like creamy butter icing. However once it settles on my skin it changes into a more musky, feminine scent that is not overpowering. This is also reduced to 98p at Superdrug at the moment.

SUMMER IS HERE GLOSSYBOX

Hi there sweeties. I am back again today with my first impressions of this month's 'Summer Is Here' GlossyBox.

NAILGIRLS 3-IN-1 BASE/TOPCOAT & NAIL STRENGTHENER

Apply this as your base and allow to dry before applying your nail colour. Once that has dried use this product again as your top coat.

I hope this product works well as having one product to use instead of two would be a bonus, plus it has strengthening properties.

GOT2B RISE 'N SHINE SOUFFLE

This lightweight product is designed to give you textured volume along with silky shine.

Rub the product between your palms and work through the lengths of dry hair or for an extra boost use fingertips and work from the roots lifting as you style.

This sounds like the type of product my fella would like, but the pink shade of the product and the jasmine scent which I like may put him off a bit :)

This product is currently reduced to £2.66 at Superdrug in the link above.

TEEEZ TREND COSMETICS BEAUTIFUL FLAT STIFF BRUSH

To be used to apply powder and cream eye shadows.

This eye make-up brush has a beautiful design. I like the shape and density of the bristles. 

ROGER & GALLET FLEUR DE FIGUIER DISCOVERY RITUAL (SHOWER CREAM, BODY LOTION & EAU FRAICHE FRAGRANCE)

Fruit-floral and fig inspired scents. Cleanse with the shower cream, replenish moisture with the body cream and dab on fragrance for an all over irresistible scent.

I have tried quite a few Roger & Gallet products which I love and this fragrance does not disappoint. It is definitely a fruit-floral scent that is great for summer.

SO SUSAN COSMETICS CONCEALER QUAD

Can be used to cover minor blemishes and imperfections. A lightweight formula ideal for summer. Can also be used as a contouring kit.

Dot over the desired area and blend gently until full coverage is achieved.

I have yet to try this palette on my blemishes or as a contoured look, but on first impressions swatching it on my hand I think it won't give too much coverage. Lightweight products are great for summer, but concealer palettes like this need to have a little more density I feel in order to work well. I will however try it out properly before saying that I don't like it.

I am happy with this month's box, but not ecstatic. I am excited however for next month's limited edition box.
