Cake For Mum's 60th Birthday & Haul

Hiya everyone and Happy Saturday! What are you all up to on this glorious day? I have already popped out quickly this morning, but now I am ready to get stuck into some blogging. Today's post involves cake for my Mum's birthday and a haul.

It was my Mum's 60th birthday on Monday 10th March so myself and my fella decided to go and see her the day before for a take away and cake as he wasn't sure how late he would be back from work on the Monday. I did make this yummy chocolate devil myself on the Sunday. It was actually quite delicious and I had fun decorating it.

I then met up with Mum on her birthday. We had lunch and did some shopping. Mum bought a few things with the money we gave her, but the main item she has yet to choose is a mirror to hang over her living room fireplace.

This Izabel London salt & pepper coat from Dorothy Perkins was in the sale for £30.00. I am not sure of the original price as I can't find it on their website, but I think it was around £50-55.00. I know spring is on it's way, but this is the UK and there are still a few chilly nights and days about.

Primark Scarf ~ £4.00

I love the design and colour of this scarf. It's the sort of thing my Gran used to have on her china. I think the blue will really compliment my eye colour.

Primark Headband ~ £3.00

This headband made me feel hopeful for spring. I think it's so pretty and girly.

So as you can see I didn't go crazy overspending, but I am happy with my bargains. What little must haves have you picked up lately? Let me know in the comments below.

How I Store My Bangles & Bracelets

Hello poppets. I don't want to start this post on a bad note, but a relative of mine is critically ill in hospital and although I still wan to blog I may not have much time to at the moment so please bare with me.

Today I have a post showing you how I store my bangles and bracelets.

This was a Tatty Bear box that used to have lip glosses inside. It was given to me as a Xmas present, but as the lid is curved I thought it was the perfect shape for storing my bangles and bracelets. From what I remember most of these are from House Of Fraser, Primark, Dorothy Perkins, Flutterbyes, Lemonade/Love Lemonade & Rebecca Louise.

How do you store your bangles and bracelets? Do you have them on show more than I do? Let me know in the comments below.

My Watch & Ring Collections & How I Store Them

Hiya dolls. I am so pleased that you are here. Today I have another part of my jewellery collection and storage to show you which are my watches and rings.

This Ellesse watch was a gift from my man when we first got together.

These watches are from L-R: Bijoux (Xmas present from a friend), I think Dorothy Perkins, Emporio Armani @ Goldsmiths (birthday present from my fella) and Dorothy Perkins.

This is the insert to the box that holds my watches and sits on top. It stores my gold rings and my cute pink beaded one. I believe these are from Primark, Dorothy Perkins and Accessorize. The pink one I bought at a show and I don't know the brand sorry. This box was a gift.

This box was another gift from a work colleague which stores all of my silver rings. There are rings in here from Primark, Dorothy Perkins, Matalan and Claire's.

I bought a lot of these rings from Love Lemonade/Lemonade at a show so they gave me this ring case to take them away in. I added to the collection with rings from brands such as Primark and Dorothy Perkins I believe.

I hope you are enjoying these jewellery collection posts so far. Do you display your jewellery or is it tucked away safely? Let me know along with your storage solutions in the comments below.

My Necklaces & How I Hang Them

Hi lovelies. I hope you are well today. I had a good sort through my jewellery recently and thought it might interest some of you to see what I have and how I store it. I am going to split my jewellery collection and storage into a few posts so that it's not a massive and boring post for you guys. I hope you like it :)

These are my gold chain necklaces. If I remember correctly these are from Primark, Topshop, Urban Outfitters, Dorothy Perkins & River Island.

These are my silver necklaces. I believe these were from Primark & Superdrug. The butterfly necklace was a gift from a family shop that is no longer open. The charm necklace has detachable charms that I also have a bracelet for. I got this at show on a day out with my Mum.

This little gem was bought by my fella for one of my birthday's. His little body and limbs move. So cute.

These are all of my random necklaces that are not silver or gold. Again I think these are from Topshop, ASOS, Primark and H&M.

This beauty is what I have hung my necklaces on. It saves them getting all tangled up which is so annoying. These hangers would be great for hanging thin scarves too. I got these in Primark. They come in black too I believe. They are just £2.00 per hanger. I have these on my clothes rail so they are great space savers.

How do you store your necklaces? Have you found any other great storage solutions in Primark? let me know in the comments below.

Jewellery Trend: Ring Stacking

Hey Beauts. I have been rooting around in my jewellery recently and rediscovered my love for ring stacking. Here are a few pic's of my fave ways to wear the trend.

The gold rings were from Primark. I believe the others were all from Dorothy Perkins.

Are you a fan of ring stacking? What jewellery trends are you a fan of? Let me know in the comments below.

Dorothy Perkins Jewellery Sale Haul

Hi All. I popped up town today and while there I got a couple of things. I want to share with you in this haul the jewellery I got in Dorothy Perkins in the sale.

Bracelets reduced from £8.50 each to £2.00 each

I think these will be really pretty for summer, especially because of the candy shades. They are so easy to wear separately, together or with other jewellery.

I really wanted this set for the cross ring, but as this came with the other rings I'm sure I will use the others and perhaps stack them.

I love (yes I said love) this set of four rings. They are really cute and cool at the same time. I really like that I can wear the V ring on it's own as well as it's my initial :) I have a plaster on my thumb as I managed to slice it open when detaching these rings from the bloomin' packaging :(

One of these sets of rings was originally £12.50 and the other set was originally £10.00. One set was reduced to £2.00 and the other set was reduced to £3.00. Sorry I can't tell you which set is which as I was bleeding quite a bit and mixed up the packaging, oops!

So that's my wee jewellery haul. Some great bargains for a whopping wee total of just £9.00. That's £9.00 for 8 rings and 2 bracelets. Love it :)

Have you found any great jewellery recently or anything else in the sales? Do any of these products appeal to you?

My Xmas Presents: Part 2

Hello my fabulous Darlings. I managed to take the rest of my Xmas presents back to my place today from my other half's. These presents are from my man and his family. I said I would show you these presents too so here they are.

I have some fabulous gifts here. The shades of the Fearne Cotton lip glosses and nail varnishes are lush and the false eyelashes are great too. I love all my Hello Kitty goodies. They are so cute. The make-up brushes actually feel quite nice, but I will have to try them to see what they are like to work with.

This DKNY perfume I received from my fella last Xmas, but his Dad actually got me this set this Xmas. It is a nice perfume which I have now run out of so it's nice to have. The Soap & Glory trolley case with toiletries and vouchers my man knew I liked so I knew I had this. I didn't care though as it's gorgeous and the perfect size to take some things round to his house.

I got some great basic toiletries here. My boyfriend's Mum always does a bag of things like this every Xmas. She knows I like these cotton buds, deodorant and face wipes, but it's cool as I will use it all. I have left a razor, pack of wipes and a toothpaste at my boyfriend's that I got with this lot too. love the wee desk calendar. I was hoping I would get one :)

I picked these tops out so I know how much these were. The Hollister vest on the left was £20.00 and the Vero Moda tops on the right were just the bargain price of £2.00 each. The one on top is long sleeve, but the ones underneath are all short sleeve.

I chose these two dresses from H&M as well. I already have this in Black which I bought for £10.00 at the time in the sale. I wore it to a Xmas night out with people from work. These two had been further reduced to just £7.00 each so I just had to have them.

I was eyeing these House Of Holland Pretty Polly suspender tights in lots of shops and my boyfriend gave me the money to go and get them as he didn't want to pick the wrong ones up. He saw these H&M knee high socks on a mannequin and liked the look so got these for me. These Primark slipper socks are leopard print so what's not to love?

I went on to lots of people about this Dorothy Perkins dressing gown as I do love leopard print and this feels all snugly and warm. I really like the hood on it too. I was well chuffed to get this.

My boyfriend hates buying me clothes as he never knows if he is buying the right size or if I will wear it so we went to Bluewater together and I picked out these jeans from Zara. I think these were about £30.00?

I chose these Hollister jeans also. The lower pair are more like jeggings really. I think these were about £40.00 each.

Apologies for the creasing of the clothes folks, but these clothes have been in bags since before Xmas. A massive thank you to my lovely boyfriend and his family for all these lush gifts. I do appreciate all of my gifts and I know I have been spoiled, but I spoiled others too so I don't feel too guilty ;)

For anyone interested here is part 1, Link :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! This is my first post of 2012 and it won't be my last :)

Love to you all
