PRIMARK HAUL - SEPTEMBER 2015

Hey sweeties. I went shopping the other day with my Mum and picked up lots of goodies in PRIMARK that I know you will want to see.

KIDS BLING DIGITAL STEREO HEADPHONES - ONE SIZE - PINK - £7

At work I can listen to my I-Pod and I currently have in ear headphones which I find a little uncomfortable to wear for long periods. I saw that Primark have some foldable white over the head headphones, but then I saw these kids ones and just couldn't help myself. They are not fantastic quality, but they do cancel out quite a bit of noise. Plus I can pretend I am a DJ, ha ha.

WORK OUT X-BACK PADDED CROP TOPS - MEDIUM (10/12) - FUCHSIA, GREY MARL & TEAL - £4 EACH

Now I am not going to lie. I do not plan to work out in these although I do think they would be great to. I prefer wearing crop tops instead of bras at home for comfort with a bit of support. I love that these have adjustable straps and a crossover back which I think will really help with support also. They are nicely padded with cups that are full. By that I mean they fill the whole breast/cup area, but are removable. I love these shades and the Aztec/Tribal print.

SOFT TOUCH TRACKSUIT BOTTOMS - 12 - BLUSH & BLUE MARL - £4.50 EACH

I have been wanting to get some comfortable lounge pants/joggers to doss around in at home instead of wearing my PJ's. These soft touch trackies are perfect with their cuffed bottoms that can be rolled up too. I sized up on these as I find a lot of tracksuit bottoms especially in Primark are slim fit and I wanted a looser style.

WIDE RIB JUMPERS - 12 - IVORY, OLIVE & BLACK - £8 EACH

I know I will get a lot of wear out of these basic tops. They feel like real quality without being too heavy. I could wear them as tops or with something underneath such as a vest, bodycon top or a shirt. The sleeves come just below the elbow. I sized up in these too as I wanted them to skim over my body rather than cling so that layering is easier too. I wasn't sure about the oilve shade on me, but I don't have a shade like it in my wardrobe so I thought I'd give it a try. This does come in grey too, but they only had a size 16 left  :(

DESPICABLE ME MINIONS - GREY:

CUFFED LEG BOTTOMS - MEDIUM (10/12) - £7

SWEAT TOP - MEDIUM (10/12) £8

I could not resist these Minion pieces. They will make me happy every time I wear them. I love the expressions Minions have and these even have 'Bello' (Minion hello) on them. The bottoms are a little big, but if I sized down I am not sure if they would be a slimmer fit than I would like so I will stick with these.

A massive thanks to my Mum who treated me to this haul. It was a belated birthday present as she moved around that time and so gave a me few smaller bits back then in case anything got lost or packed away.

Let me know your great finds in Primark as I will be going there again with my friend next week. Yes there will most likely be another haul :)

#BLFW JEWELLERY

Hey there beauties. You may or may not remember me attending BLOGGERS LOVE FASHION WEEK DAY 1. I met lots of great brands and was so kindly gifted with lots of exciting things including items from these brands who you can learn more about in the link above.

This diamante and gold vintage inspired necklace is the perfect way to add interest to an outfit. It would look great with an open neck, something off the shoulder or strapless. Likewise it's ideal to wear under the collar of a shirt.

This beautiful colour petal layer ring is so different from other jewellery I have seen. This is a real statement piece perfect for the spring/summer season with it's handmade floral diamante design. Sabreena is very talented at creating so many wonderful pieces available at Norenzo. If you love floral accessories that I believe have a very modern take on traditional vintage items check out her line now.

These handmade triangle studs will never date with their geometric design. Great for everyday wear as a simple statement. The Aztec and tribal trends seem to always pop up at this time of year so they will fit in perfectly with those too.

I love this peace and love style beaded bracelet. It's quite neutral in tone with just a pop of green so great for mixing and matching with various outfits. Joe Browns are anything but a boring brand. They have such a variety of clothing and accessory pieces for men and women. Once you start looking through their site you will be on there a while.

I also have another piece of jewellery from a brand that I met that night, but I designed it myself so expect that post soon.

Let me know which of these brands excites you and any favourite pieces in the comments below.

PRIMARK HAUL - BEAUTY & ACCESSORIES

Hello beauties. This is my last post for today and yes it's a goodie. I popped into Primark on Friday to spend some of my birthday money. For once I didn't buy any clothes, but I picked up some fab beauty and accessories.

P.S. LOVE FASHION/FRENCH NAILS (L-R) NEON PINK, FRENCH & AZTEC

I used to really enjoy painting my nails, but I find that I seldom have the time to let them dry long enough and then sometimes they chip anyway due to house chores etc. I have heard a lot of good things about Primark false nails. I know a lot of people use the Elegant Touch nail glue with them so I bought that too. These were a great price of just £1 per pack.

SILVER CLEAN BAND RING

Saving the need to buy lots of singular silver band rings this gives an all in one ring stacked effect for just £1.

COLOUR GEM STACK RINGS

This pack of 6 rings was a total bargain at just £1. I will wear them in so many ways either stacked or singular.

P.S. LOVE THIS FACIAL CLEANSING PAD

I have picked this up to clean my make-up brushes as I am terrible at doing them regularly. There is a sucker at the bottom to keep it in place while washing them in the sink. This was £1.50.

FLORAL ALICEBAND

This was in the kids section, but I think it will fit okay. I am still a sucker for floral hair pieces. This was £2.50.

QUILTED TOTE

I have been on the hunt for a new handbag for so long as I didn't have one with a long handle. This is kind of a cement grey shade with two silver chain detailed straps. There is a zip along the top and an inner zip section as well as a mobile phone holder. This was £10.

DOUBLE ZIP CAMERA BAG

I usually like to have a staple black bag in my collection and although this bag may look small it's like a tardis. There are two zip sections at the top, one with an inner zip and a zip section to the front. As well as the carry handle at the top there is also a detachable and adjustable longer handle which I will probably leave on most of the time. As the name suggests this will fit my camera perfectly. Great for attending events :) This was £8.

I hope you found something you like in this haul so you can run out and find it. Let me know your Primark finds in the comments below.

BONFIRE NIGHT DISCOUNT FASHION AT BOOHOO

Hi lovelies. How are you all doing? I hope you are not stuck out in this awful rain.

With Bonfire Night approaching this Wednesday I thought it would be a good idea to put together my perfect 'Outfit Of The Night' from BOOHOO. They currently have a 15% discount code on everything which ends at midnight so check out my picks below :)

I love the effortless style of this coat. I used to have one like this in blue in my teen/grunge days. It's perfect for everyday and because it's not bright yet still has colour it's a great mix and match piece. The hoodie is great if you are not up for wearing a hat or carrying a brolly and the large pockets mean you don't need a bag.

Picking up from the grey tones in the coat with the same sort of marl effect this is a perfect accompaniment.

These basics will keep you warm throughout the A/W season.

I love the faux fur detail for snuggly warm ankles. No sinking in the mud on bonfire night with these beauties.

Lost your gloves from last year or found that they are a bit bobbly? These bargain £1 gloves are a one size fits all style that will go with any outfit and can be rolled up for easy storage in your pocket or handbag.

I think this will pick up the pink/red tones in the coat well and what a gorgeous scarf for the season.

This does come in a neon yellow shade, but I wanted the scarf to be the accessory that stood out and go with black basics for the hat and gloves.

So that's my Bonfire Night styling.

Let me know your picks for Bonfire Night outfits and the bargains you picked up in the BOOHOO SALE CODE ENJOY with 15% off EVERYTHING UNTIL MIDNIGHT so go, go, go!!

Images not my own.

Travel Supermarket Beauty & The Beach 2 Holiday Nails Competition

Hi there my loves. Are you going on holiday this year and stuck for make-up, hair or nail ideas to make you look gorgeous while you are away? Maybe you have some ideas you would like to share with others of your favourite beach to bar looks? Travel Supermarket are running a Beauty & The Beach 2 Competition where you can enter your favourite holiday looks in the make-up, hair or nail categories. With each category you have the chance to win £500. You can enter 1, 2 or 3 categories and an overall winner will win £1,500. I am entering the holiday nails section so here is my entry :)

I first applied one coat of Rimmel Stronger Double Duty Base Coat, followed by two coats of E.L.F. Coral Nail Polish. One coat covered the nails really well, but to make the manicure last longer I added another layer. This colour is so gorgeous and I think a perfect sunshine shade to take you from bright sunny days to hot summer nights. It is coral as the name states, but it has this fantastic golden shimmer running through it to really make the coral shade pop. I wanted to add an aztec/tribal feel to the nails so I used 2 coats of the E.L.F. Black Nail Polish on the middle finger to add a triangle tip and with a clear top coat (unnamed) I painted this around the triangle and added random coloured rhinestones with my tweezers, dropping them on gently and pressing lightly to seal them down. I went over each nail with the clear top coat to seal the whole manicure.

Products Used:

Rimmel Stronger Double Duty Base Coat, £4.15 for 12ml

E.L.F. Coral Nail Polish, $2.00 for 10ml on eyeslipsface.com*

E.L.F. Black Nail Polish**

Clear Top Coat From a 99p Stores Nail Art Set (unnamed)

At Your Fingertips Square/Diamond Rhinestones (green, gold, red, blue & pink)***

*Coral looks like a golden shade now on eyelipsface.co.uk for £2.50.

**Black is no longer available at eyeslipsface.co.uk. There is a black on eyeslipsface.com, but it is part of the E.L.F. Essential 15-Piece Nail Polish Set - Limited Edition for $15.00 and I am not sure if it is the same formula.

***These Rhinestones are no longer available in this style from At Your Fingertips, but add square/diamond rhinestone wheel to your search engine and many colour/style options will pop up.

As the E.L.F. Coral shade is hard to get hold of now I would suggest using a regular coral shade in one coat with a gold shimmer of one coat on top to create the same effect. For the black any black nail polish will work and the rhinestones you should have fun with using the shape and colours you like.

If you would like to enter this competition then check out this link

I nominate these 5 fellow bloggers to enter by Wednesday 5th June 2013:

Good luck to all that enter for each category. If you have entered already then why not share your entries in the comments below.

Love to you all
