PRIMARK HAUL - BEAUTY & ACCESSORIES

Hello beauties. This is my last post for today and yes it's a goodie. I popped into Primark on Friday to spend some of my birthday money. For once I didn't buy any clothes, but I picked up some fab beauty and accessories.

P.S. LOVE FASHION/FRENCH NAILS (L-R) NEON PINK, FRENCH & AZTEC

I used to really enjoy painting my nails, but I find that I seldom have the time to let them dry long enough and then sometimes they chip anyway due to house chores etc. I have heard a lot of good things about Primark false nails. I know a lot of people use the Elegant Touch nail glue with them so I bought that too. These were a great price of just £1 per pack.

SILVER CLEAN BAND RING

Saving the need to buy lots of singular silver band rings this gives an all in one ring stacked effect for just £1.

COLOUR GEM STACK RINGS

This pack of 6 rings was a total bargain at just £1. I will wear them in so many ways either stacked or singular.

P.S. LOVE THIS FACIAL CLEANSING PAD

I have picked this up to clean my make-up brushes as I am terrible at doing them regularly. There is a sucker at the bottom to keep it in place while washing them in the sink. This was £1.50.

FLORAL ALICEBAND

This was in the kids section, but I think it will fit okay. I am still a sucker for floral hair pieces. This was £2.50.

QUILTED TOTE

I have been on the hunt for a new handbag for so long as I didn't have one with a long handle. This is kind of a cement grey shade with two silver chain detailed straps. There is a zip along the top and an inner zip section as well as a mobile phone holder. This was £10.

DOUBLE ZIP CAMERA BAG

I usually like to have a staple black bag in my collection and although this bag may look small it's like a tardis. There are two zip sections at the top, one with an inner zip and a zip section to the front. As well as the carry handle at the top there is also a detachable and adjustable longer handle which I will probably leave on most of the time. As the name suggests this will fit my camera perfectly. Great for attending events :) This was £8.

I hope you found something you like in this haul so you can run out and find it. Let me know your Primark finds in the comments below.

CHEAP FLOWER GARLAND HEADBANDS

Hi lovelies. I have the house to myself for a while today so I wanted to blog as much as possible as I will be returning to work tomorrow after a week off. It's crazy how the time has flown. I hope you have all had a good week.

I posted earlier this week about some flower garland headbands that I recently purchased on Ebay, link! Two more arrived later that day from another seller. I wasn't expecting them for another 2-3 weeks which is why I didn't wait to put them all in the same haul.

Anyway enough rambling and here they are .......

These headbands come in three colours of pink, beige and blue. The blue was sold out at the time I purchased these. The beige shade is more of an off white. The stretchy headband part shows as black in the sellers photos, but my beige (off white) one has a white band. This is fine for me, but for anyone that might not like this I thought you should know.

If you know of any places to buy pretty hair accessories like these that are not too expensive then let me know in the comments below.

FLOWER GARLAND HEADBANDS FOR SUMMER & FESTIVALS

Hi sweeties. How rubbish is the weather right now. We are meant to be out of the April showers so what's going on?

Moving on to something much more pretty and fun is my flower garland headband haul :)

This fuchsia and white band has smaller flowers than the other bands, but they are still a good size. This comes with an elasticated band that looks silky on the outside, but not on the inside so it should stay easily in place. It also comes in a multi-pastel and white option.

I love the colours of these flowers which is why I bought them all :) They are attached to a plaited cord band which has a stretchy part at the back.

I think these are great accessories that are so easy to make any outfit more interesting. Great for summer parties, festivals, weddings or if you are like me any time anywhere :)

Let me know where you purchase your flower hair bands in the comments below.

Cake For Mum's 60th Birthday & Haul

Hiya everyone and Happy Saturday! What are you all up to on this glorious day? I have already popped out quickly this morning, but now I am ready to get stuck into some blogging. Today's post involves cake for my Mum's birthday and a haul.

It was my Mum's 60th birthday on Monday 10th March so myself and my fella decided to go and see her the day before for a take away and cake as he wasn't sure how late he would be back from work on the Monday. I did make this yummy chocolate devil myself on the Sunday. It was actually quite delicious and I had fun decorating it.

I then met up with Mum on her birthday. We had lunch and did some shopping. Mum bought a few things with the money we gave her, but the main item she has yet to choose is a mirror to hang over her living room fireplace.

This Izabel London salt & pepper coat from Dorothy Perkins was in the sale for £30.00. I am not sure of the original price as I can't find it on their website, but I think it was around £50-55.00. I know spring is on it's way, but this is the UK and there are still a few chilly nights and days about.

Primark Scarf ~ £4.00

I love the design and colour of this scarf. It's the sort of thing my Gran used to have on her china. I think the blue will really compliment my eye colour.

Primark Headband ~ £3.00

This headband made me feel hopeful for spring. I think it's so pretty and girly.

So as you can see I didn't go crazy overspending, but I am happy with my bargains. What little must haves have you picked up lately? Let me know in the comments below.

Boohoo Winter Wishes Advent Calendar

Hi there gorgeous people. I hope you are having a great week so far. Time seems to be flying by so fast with festive spirits and good times to be had. Everyone is busy at this time of year, but it shouldn't be all work and no play. This is why outfits that take you from day to night are the best thing ever. Imagine you are at work, Xmas shopping or lunching with friends and you have a call or email to attend a party, drinks with friends or an event later that day. Trouble is you have no time to go home first to get ready. Have no fear because day to night outfits are possible.

I have been collaborating with Rob from Boohoo to create this fantastic advent calendar of accessories for this post. Each line of the calendar has a bag. I have chosen other accessories that I think will work well with each bag, but I thought why stop there.

I have chosen 6 dresses that are very wearable for the daytime, but will sail you through into the evenings festivities too. Each dress has been chosen to wear alongside my advent calendar 'Winter Wishes'.

Dress 1 (Doors 1-4, 1st Line)

I actually love this dress in both this design and the black and white reversed. See link for the other design. This has a real winter scene like snow fallen trees at night. I imagine someone who works in an art gallery wearing this by day and attending the coolest wine bar with friends by night. A truly sophisticated look.

The boots I originally picked are no longer in stock so I have added the suedette version in the link above.

The ring stacks can be worn with so many outfits. I would buy both sets to mix and match like the hardware on the clutch bag. There only appears to be silver available at the moment, but hopefully the gold will come back in stock.

I would wear the tan belt to break up the dress and work alongside the boots.

Dress 2 (Doors 5-8, 2nd Line)

With the comfort of the knitted material comes sexy medieval style with this studded armour dress.

The playful autumnal headband and over the knee socks will bring out your inner elf. The wine shade have now sold out. As an alternative I would pick the charcoal shade.

The buckled boots match well with the dress embellishments too.

Go from strolling in a winter wonderland setting to dinner with your beau.

Dress 3 (Doors 9-12, 3rd Line)

Who can go wrong with a LBD? 3/4 sleeves will keep out the chill at this time of year. This is a very girl next door look that could take you from Sunday lunch with your family to a few drinks at your local with friends.

The bowler hat adds a cute effect to the patent vixen boots.

I have kept the style of the bag the same as in the calendar, but as that shade has sold out I have linked the cream above. This actually comes in a bold yellow too.

The cobalt nails are a welcome contrast against this muted palette.

Dress 4 (Doors 13-16, 4th Line)

With the bold turban and the tattoo tights this look has an almost mystical circus theme behind it.

The boots, flowy smock dress and duffle bag make it easy to go from out shopping with the girls to a pamper night in.

Dress 5 (Doors 17-20, 5th Line)

This dress combined with the gold details of the shoes, bag and necklace portrays a classy vibe.

Perfect for the retail girl who wants to party all night.

The pink and purple are a great colour block combo.

Dress 6 (Doors 21-24, 6th Line)

This dress is such a hot shade. The sexy reveal of the shoulders along with the legs is gorgeous. For the up town girl at meetings all day that wants to see in the New Year in style.

The detailed boots, necklace and tights add a cool edge to an otherwise simple outfit.

The black tassel bag I originally picked has sold out, but this alternative clutch is just gorgeous for you to sparkle day and night.

I hope that this post has inspired you to find some day to night outfits. I am sorry that some items have sold out from the original calendar, but I think I have found some great alternatives and I hope you do too.

Many thanks to Rob for working on creating my advent calendar :)

My Thursday Primark Haul

Hiya I'm back once again today. I couldn't wait to show you my purchases from Primark that I picked up on Thursday and so I will get straight into this haul :)

Left: Red Check Nightshirt With Heart Cross Stitch Pocket & Roll Up Sleeves, £7.00

Right: Navy Check Nightshirt With Heart Stud Pocket & Roll Up Sleeves, £7.00

I have been loving the tartan/check trends around recently and as I needed some new nightwear I thought this was a great wear to bring it into my wardrobe. Perfect for lounging at home with snuggly long socks :)

Charcoal Jumper Dress, £12.00

This is a great size and length for me. I would like to wear it with tights, lace up ankle boots and a beanie. It came in a beige/cream colour, but I wasn't sure it would be great for my skintone. I would love it in black, red, blue and green.

Left: Burgundy Open Cardi With Pockets, £10.00

This is a lovely deep burgundy shade which unfortunately these photos are not picking up. I would prefer it to be pulled in at the bust for a more flattering fit so I am on the lookout for unusual broaches.

Right: Black Jumper With 3/4 Sleeves, £10.00

A great simple piece that I can wear with anything.

Left: 2 Packs of Black 3 Pairs 40 Denier Appearance Microfibre Opaque Tights, £3.00 Per Pack

These are the tights that I always buy from Primark

Centre Top: Fuchsia Beanie & Black Beanie, £2.00 Each

I loved this hot pink shade and the black is a great go with everything item.

Centre Bottom: 2 Pack of Grey & Black Headbands, £1.00 for 2

Easy to wear headbands.

Right: 2 Packs of Black 5 Pairs Cotton Rich Socks, £2.00 Per Pack

I have thrown lots of socks away so I needed some more plain black ones. I really wanted the ones with unicorns on, but I couldn't find them :(

So that's the end of this haul. I have been ordering some items online too so I will show you those soon. If you see any jumper dresses or lace up ankle boots around please let me know where you find them in the comments below.

Primark Haul

Hello my sweet petals. I have a Primark haul for you today. I am really pleased with everything that I purchased so I will get straight into it.

Left: Snow Leopard Onesie, Right: Grey, Floral Onesie - £10.00 Each

I have been desperate to get my hands on a onesie for ages. These are so cool. My Mum said I look like I did when I was a kid when she saw me try these on. So cosy and they are not too long as they go tighter around the ankles.

Ivory Pussy Bow Blouse - £10.00

This is great for work. As you can probably see from the photo this is lower at the back than the front, but I will tuck this into some high waisted trousers so that feature is wasted on me. It's simple enough in style and shade to wear with lots of trousers and skirts. I need to find some more blouses for work so if you find any you think I might like please let me know :)

Indigo Top With Red O.M.G! Sequin Design & Stripes On One Arm - £14.00

This is a really nice, fun top to throw on with jeans at the weekend.

Cable Knit Design Leggings In Left to Right: Camel, Ivory & Black - £6.00 Each

I thought these were nice for winter. A change to the plain black ones I usually wear. I will probably wear knee high boots and a long jumper with these. I bought two pairs of the black as I will probably wear those the most.

Grey Trousers With A Hot Pink, Plaited, Suede Belt - £14.00

Again these trousers will be great for work. I like the length as I don't need to take them up. This does not happen to me very often as trousers in Primark usually come up way too long. They are about ankle length so bear this in mind if you prefer your trousers longer. They have a turn up at the bottom and a pocket on either side. I will probably use the belt with something else and wear a more muted one with these trousers. Please excuse the creasing on these.

Black & White Fairisle Knit Design Pants - £10.00

These are nice and snugly for lounging around indoors. They gather at the ankles, are not too tight on the legs and have a solid waistband.

Palazzo Pants In Left: Rust & Right: Teal - £8.00 Each

More trousers for work, but very wearable for an evening out too. These are a stretch, pull on design in a very wide leg 70's style as the term 'Palazzo' suggests. I will wear the blouse shown earlier in this post with these. They are very long though so I will need some very high shoes with these. What shoes do you normally wear with palazzo pants? I'm thinking a wedge maybe?

Royal Blue Palazzo Pants - £2.00

These are the same style as the above pants. There was no tag on these so the assistant gave them to me for just £2.00. Result! The waistband on these do turn over slightly at the very top as you may be able to see in the photo, but for £2.00 I'm not taking them back to get a full price pair.

Wine Red Snood - £6.00

This snood is a lovely and thick knitted design. I love the deep red colour.

Snoods in Left to Right: Black, Purple & Blue - £2.00 Each

At £2.00 each I could not resist these. They are obviously great for keeping you warm, but also nice to add a little something to an outfit when you are not in the mood for jewellery.

Gem/Bow Knitted Headbands In Left to Right: Blue, Black, Purple & Teal - £1.50 Each. In The Centre: Double Pack Of Plain Headbands In Cobalt & Pink - £1.00

I like to wear knitted headbands, especially in winter. The gem/bow ones are so cute and the double pack are fun colours. These are all such great prices.

Left: 5 Pair Pack Of Natural Tan Sheer Tights With Lycra - £2.50, Right: 3 Pair Pack Of Black 40 Denier Appearance Microfibre Opaque Tights With Elastene & Weather Sensor Finish - £3.00

I usually always by my tights in medium, but I bought the natural tan ones in small this time as I find this style tend to slip down my legs as they are not very thick and I end up with that old lady ankle. The black ones are really soft. I bought three packs of these as I use them a lot. The idea of the weather sensor in these is to make you feel warm when it's cold and and cool when it's hot, but I have never really taken much notice of whether or not this actually works as I am usually always cold. Have you tried these? If so, do you think that they work in this way?

Wide Fit Wedge, Suede, Buckle Shoes In Top: Tan & Bottom: Black - £14.00 Each

These are so comfortable. I don't have particularly wide feet, but these fit me just fine. Great if you want height and comfort in one.

Left: 5 Pairs Of Various Size Silver White Hoop Earrings - £1.00, Middle: Gold Yellow Diamante Studs - £2.00 & Right: 5 Pairs Of Various Size Gold Yellow Hoop Earrings - £1.00

Hoop earrings are so easy to put with anything and for 20p per pair these are fab. The diamante style are also lovely and great value. I already have them in silver.

So that's the end of my Primark haul. I think I got some great bargains. Have you picked up anything gorgeous lately? Primark or other I am still interested :)

Love to you all
