Primark Haul: London

Hey there my loves. I hope you are all enjoying your weekend. I bought some things in Primark a few weeks ago when I was in London and I haven't yet shown them to you so I thought I would :)

Disco Leggings in Left: Cobalt & Right: Grey ~ £7.00 Each

Now I do love me a disco legging/pant and I probably shouldn't buy anymore, but I can honestly say I love these and I know I will get my wear out of them. I already purchased the black pair here which I wore on a night out a few weeks ago. I really like how they feel on and actually don't mind my legs in them. They don't super suck me in like I imagine the American Apparel ones do, but for £7.00 I really can't fault them. I would like to pick up more of the black if I visit Primark again before they sell out.

Left: Black & Cobalt Baroque Leggings ~ £6.00

Now these I adore. I absolutely love the baroque style of them and the cobalt colour makes them such a statement. These would take a simple top and footwear to a higher place. I find that baroque styles are usually shown in a metallic form on dresses or trousers which is why I think I have never taken to this trend, but these leggings have converted me. I would love it if Primark brought out more colours of these. I can see red, yellow, pink, green and white. I would buy them all.

Right: Black Jewelled Leggings ~ £7.00

I actually bought these in my last Primark haul, but I had to take them back to exchange them as the top of the rubbish Primark bags that garments are put in have a serrated edge which obviously slit across one of the thighs as the assistant put it in. I know these were just £7.00, but I hadn't even worn them so I went back to change them over and here they are. I think they are really fun and will look good with black ankle boots.

Left: Primark Beauty Exfoliating Facial Cleansing Wipes With Cucumber Extract ~ £1.00 for 25 Wipes

I thought these would be worth giving a try as they are so cheap. They smell really fresh as you would expect from the cucumber. I do like to use exfoliating cleansing wipes at the start of my skincare regime to remove make-up and dirt from my face and neck.

Right: Primark Beauty Felt Eye Liner Pen Black ~ £1.50

I used this once the other day and I do love the pigment of it. It starts off as a lighter black, but the more you go over the line the black becomes deeper in shade. This is a very pointed pen liner that bends just a little at the tip. You can either use the tip for a very fine line or draw using more of the tips side for a thicker line. It did not glide onto my eyes when drawing a flick as easily as it did when I swatched it on my hand, but I want to try it again. Great value for the price though.

Opia Gem Cross Hand Jewellery ~ £1.00 (Reduced From £1.50)

I have always fancied picking up one of these hand/wrist jewels. I have no idea what they are called so please excuse me. I like this one as it looks like I will still be able to move and bend my hand comfortably without this annoying me which when I have looked at other ones before they look more rigid. For £1.00 if I don't like it much I won't cry.

So that's it lovelies. I hope you enjoyed this haul. Have you picked up any fantastic buys from Primark or anywhere else you think I might like? Let me know in the comments below.

Love to you all

Primark Haul

Hi there and Happy Saturday! Yay the sun is back thank goodness. Dreary weather makes you feel bad so now it's time to smile :) Today I have some clothes to show you that I picked up in Primark so let me get to it.

Left: Charcoal Cardigan £8 reduced to just over £3

I found this little bargain on the reduced rail. I think it will be great to go with many outfits, especially as the colour is very neutral. I bought this in an XS as it's a style that poofs out a little at the hips because of the way it is curved at the bottom.

Centre: Ivory Shrug £5

I also bought one of these in black which I wore last weekend and it was a great little cover up. Perfect for when you don't want to wear a jacket, but still need a little something. This comes in navy too.

Right: Khaki Fringe Waistcoat £12

I love the hippy vibe of this waistcoat. I wanted to get one last year, but I didn't spot any I liked. This is a great length too as it drapes over the top of my legs which is good I think if you are not that confident wearing shorts in the summer. It seems quite delicate so I will have to take care when washing it. This also comes in a cream/beige shade.

Left: Acidwash Dungaree Shorts £12

Okay so here is the part of the haul where I like to dress like a child as you can see :) I am not the most confident person at wearing shorts, but I really like the dungaree styles that are about at the moment so I thought I would pick up a pair and give them a go. I really like the acidwash effect on these too. How do you like to style up your dungarees? Any ideas are appreciated.

Centre: Purple Hello Kitty Onesie £14

I have been on the lookout for this for ages after seeing someone wearing one online. I obviously am a fan of Hello Kitty and love to be cosy and warm so this is like a godsend outfit for me. I got this in a size 10/12 thinking that I wanted it to be loose and cosy for lounging at home and it really is roomy. I could have got a size down really, but it's fine for indoors.

Grey Pinafore Dress £10

This is another item that I have wanted for a while. I really wanted a black one, but there was only one left that was too big so I got this, but I still want the black one :( How do you like to dress a pinafore dress? Leave any ideas in the comments below :)

Left: Black & Cream Print Trousers £9

I picked these trousers up for work. I think they look quite chic and will be great when worn with plain tops. They are really comfy as they are a drawstring waist style. There are exposed zips by the ankles which actually hold the trousers down nicely while adding a little feature. Other trousers I have for work tend to rise when I sit down and I have to pull them back down at the bottom when I stand up so these will not cause that problem. These will be really cool to wear in the summer too. They will probably crease easily when wearing, but I don't think you will notice it as much as you would with a plain colour as I think the detailed print will make it less noticeable.

Right: Animal Print Trousers £9

These are the exact same style as the other pair with a wild animal print. Both of these trousers I think would be great for going out somewhere straight from work too.

Left: Cobalt 'OMG' Joggers £8

I thought these were really cool to wear on more casual days and just a bit of fun. This pair says OMG on both legs. I have turned the joggers inwards to show you designs better.

Right: Grey Marl 'WHY' 'NOT' Joggers £8

These are the same style, but with WHY on one leg and NOT on the other. I think I will wear these with my black studded high top trainers. I am not sure that they will go with the cobalt pair so I may have to wear those with my white plimsolls I'm not sure yet.

Black Disco Leggings £7

I tried these on last weekend and they really are great for £7. I have never tried the American Apparel disco pants, but these really do look pretty good. They are very shiny so if that's not the look you want these won't be for you. They don't feel as cheaply made as some of the other Primark leggings can feel as the material feels more robust. Primark do have the styles that look more like the American Apparel ones too, but they feel more constricting as there seems to be no give in them.

Dipped Hem Shirts in Left: Pink, Centre: Ivory & Right: Black £6 Each

I picked these up for work. They are fab as I can roll the sleeves up or down depending on the weather. These are very lightweight and see-through, but I wear them with a tight vest or t-shirt underneath. These do not need ironing if hung up straight after a wash either :) I buy these in a size 6 as they do come up quite large.

Left: Ivory V Neck Long T-Shirt & Right: Black V Neck Long T-Shirt £4 Each

These are made of the same material as the shirts above so no ironing :) yay! I think I will wear these with leggings and a bodycon vest over even over the top of a bodycon dress. I didn't realise until I got home, but these have a sexy split on each side about half way down which is a nice detail. I think these would be great if you were going on holiday as they would be great alternatives to a kaftan. I go these in a size 6 also.

Centre: Ivory Floral Applique Top £8

I only saw this in one shade and I wish there were more because I love it. It feels so, so soft. I think I might wear it under my dungarees. I would be happy to wear this day or night and I wouldn't feel too exposed with just a bandeau top underneath because of the keyhole design. I could really imagine this in black, pastel pink and blue as well as hot pink and cobalt blue so pleeeeease bring out more shades of this style Primark.

Top Left to Right & Bottom Left: My Crop Boyfriend Tee in shades Pink, Charcoal, White & Black £3 Each

I got these to wear with my dungarees as not too much stomach will be exposed. I bought these in a size 12 in the hope that they would be a little longer. I really like the roll sleeve design too.

Bottom Right: Red Coca-Cola Crop Tee £6

The tag I noticed when I got home said size 14 so I was annoyed, but the labels inside say 12 so who knows what size this is? It fits the same as the other tee's though and I like the design.

Top Left: Red 2 Way Vest £1

This vest can be worn as a v neck or if reversed as a slightly rounded low neck style. The finish at the end of this vest is not great, but I bought it to wear under things so that doesn't matter.

2nd From Top Left To Right: Vests in shades Apple, Orange, Cobalt, Turquoise & Aqua £2 Each

I thought these were £1 also which is why I queried it at the till, but I then realised it was a different style and they are a little better quality. They are still a great price and perfect for wearing under the shirts I showed you earlier on in this post.

Bottom Left: Pink Los Angeles California Sports Sweater £8

I love the colour of this top and this design is easy to wear with many items.

Bottom Right: Coral 86 New York City Sports Sweater £8

These two sweaters are both lovely and soft. This is a fab peachy shade too.

I hadn't intended to go on a shopping spree, but I was in town for an appointment and having a bit of topsy turvey day so I thought why not treat myself as I had some overtime money.

Have you picked up any Primark bargains recently? What are your favourite key items to wear in the spring/summer? Let me know in the comments below along with suggestions on how to wear the items I have picked up in this haul.

OOTN: Movie Night

Hi there beautiful people. Are you up to much on this lightly snowing Saturday? I don't have many plans other then blogging for today. We had a few people over for take away and a movie last night which was fun. While getting ready I thought I would take some snaps of what I wore for our cosy night in.

Don't mind the headless person. I was in a bit of a rush, but before doing hair and make-up I managed to take a few snaps.

Hot Pink bodycon dress ~ H&M

Grey Eyelet Knitted Boyfriend Cardigan ~ New Look. Haul post here

Black Disco Pants ~ BooHoo. You can find them here

Creepers ~ Primark

Socks ~ Primark I think?

Gold Cross Chain ~ Primark. Haul post here

I actually swapped the creepers and frill socks for these slipper socks because I don't wear shoes indoors. I also took off the necklace, but had I popped out that is how I would have worn this outfit.

I realise this is not a spectacular OOTN post, but I just thought it was something different to pop on the blog :) Apologies for the poor lighting as it was night time so I was under artificial lights. The pink of the dress and slippers are definitely hot pink, so much brighter than these photos.

What do you wear for cosy nights in? Full on glamour or onesie style? Let me know in the comments below.

Cheap Disco Pants

Hi Gorgeous Beauty Addicts. I had a lovely evening last night with me fella for Valentine's. He came in from work with flowers, chocolates, wine, a card and food which he cooked for us. We had thai fish cakes, steak lasagne with green veg and cheesecake/tarts. We also watched that Ryan Gosling rom-com with Emma Stone in it. I hope all of you that are single or attached had a great night too.

Today I just have to share with you these incredibly cheap disco pants that I have found. Now don't get me wrong they are not super suck you in disco pants, but for the price I am so glad I got them.

Karma Clothing High Waisted Shiny Disco PVC Leggings, Currently £6.00 Each

These are usually priced on the Karma Clothing website for £8.99 each which is still a good price, but £6.00 is just way too good to miss. I picked these up in the shades Wine Red, Royal Blue, Red & Purple.

They are all great, but the purple is my favourite I think. I believe Karma Clothing gets these from different suppliers as the Red pair are a bit bigger than the others so they are a little baggy behind the knees. I can work with them though for £6.00. The purple pairs material does not fold over at the waist like the others as there is no elastic at the waist in those. I am not sure why they are called PVC leggings as they are 100% Nylon.

Even with these variations I am still very happy with my purchases. These also come in shades of Black, Gold, Silver and Navy.

I already have some black and navy ones from BooHoo so I just went for these. I was tempted by the gold and silver, but I thought they might look a bit space age. I know the colours I have chosen aren't subtle, but I just wasn't sure about those two shades. I would like a bronze pair and a charcoal grey pair, but Karma Clothing didn't have those.

If you are new to the disco pant trend and are not sure if you will like them then I recommend trying these ones out. For the price you can't go wrong!

Where do you buy your disco pants? Would you wear a cheaper pair or do you prefer a more snug fit? What are your Karma Clothing favourites?

OOTN: Let's Bowl, Drink & Dance

Hey there Beauty Addicts. As I mentioned in my last post I went out on Saturday night with work colleagues and friends for our Xmas work do. We went bowling and moved on to a bar/club afterwards. It was a great night, but quite a difficult one to dress for. Here is my OOTN post to show you what I wore :)

Silver/White Jumper ~ H&M

Black Bodycon Top (worn underneath) ~ Vero Moda

Black Blazer ~ H&M - Blog Post Here

Black Quilted Bag ~ Unknown brand bought at BINTM Live!

Black Disco Pants ~ BooHoo - Blog Post Here

Leopard Print Court Shoes ~ New Look

Lips ~ StarGazer Semi Permanent Lip Liner Pen (03)* & 17 Lip Gloss (Red Shade)

*PR Sample

I'm such a multitasker. I took socks along in my handbag for the bowling and took off my jumper and tied it around my handbag when we went for drinks.

Everyone's At The Disco

Hello Gorgeous. Yeah that's all of you. Happy Bank Holiday. I hope you are making the most of it. I know you have most likely read a whole load of blog posts of people finding great dupes for the American Apparel Disco Pants and I just thought I would show you my very cheap dupe pair if you are a girl like me who is always up for a bargain.

These are the Black Amerie High Shine High Waisted Disco Pants. I got these from boohoo.com when they had a 20% off sale. They are not having a sale at the moment, but they are offering Free UK Saver Delivery until midnight when you spend over £25.00. These are currently selling for £15.00. These come in shades of Berry, Cobalt and Silver as shown in the link above. There are many other Disco Pants on the BooHoo website, most of which look the same as these, but are named differently. Here is a link to all of them. I am very tempted to get the Navy and Charcoal shades.

Now onto my thoughts. I am obviously impressed by them or I wouldn't want other shades, but let me tell you why. These are a really great length on me. I'm about 5ft 3 and usually find I either have to take things up or just deal with some ruching around my ankles if things are too long. The inside leg on these is 67cm. They are made from Nylon and Elastane and are machine washable. These are high waisted and are clingy as you would expect leggings/disco pants to be. In the second photo I am pinching where the elastic inside the waistband is so that you can see it does not fill that whole section where the waist material is. I hate it when you buy trousers, leggings or joggers and you have elastic at the waist the keeps folding over. I do not find these do this once I have them on because they are definitely high waisted. These are Black, but because they have a slight sheen to them they do catch the sunlight on a bright day. I don't think my bottom looks too bad in these, but I feel more comfortable pairing these with a long vest or t-shirt. These do not lose their shape if you wear them a couple of times without washing. They wrinkle just a wee bit behind the knees, but I don't think I could wear a size down as elasticated waists on my tummy make it bloat out no matter what size I wear. I am such a weirdo as I'm the same when I wear tights. I have these in a size 10 and I usually wear 8-10.

missguided.co.uk are also selling what looks to be this same style for £14.99 and they are offering 10% off until midnight tonight.

If you would like to see these in an OOTD/OOTN post let me know in the comments below. Have you found any great disco pants?

Love to you all
